Most of them are in general level of English, but they are greatly interested in learning English. Students have learned some Basic English words about computer in their junior school. (三)Textbook Analysis:This is the writing part of module 3My first ride on a train and contains four topics which related to holiday and journey. This part asks students can write a composition about their own holiday.Holiday and journey are familiar to students who just dont know how to write them in English. And the part is close to their life and can easily arouse their interest in learning how to write a composition.(四)Teaching Aims:Knowledge Aims1. To introduce the features of descriptive genre. 2. To be able to write a descriptive composition of 120 words. Ability Aims1. Students are able to understand and master of new words and phrases used in describing journey.2. Students are able to introduce their own journey and explain them in detail.3. Students are able to talk about the advantages and disadvantages of the Internet in the life.Culture AimsLearn some knowledge about different touring cultures among different countries.Emotional Aims Show our love to our native land and respect and familiar with some other countrys scenery. (五)Teaching key points 1. Write accurate and fluent sentences. 2. Use correct verb tenses. 3. Write a coherent descriptive composition.(六)Teaching difficulties To make students learn how to talk about this topic confidently and fluently.
