Lead-in (1)视频(暴风雨小视频)导入,让学生初步了解暴风雨,观察暴风雨来临前天气的变化,引出短文para1中天气的变化,Before the storm, the winds were blowing strongly, black clouds were making the sky very dark, there was no light outside, it felt like midnight.(2)Free talk: Talk about the weatherT: Whats the weather like today?Ss: Its cloudy.T: What other kind of weather have we learned?Ss:rainy, snowy, windy, sunny.T: What was the weather like in the video?Ss: It was windy and rainy.T: It was blowing and raining hard, so we call this kind of weather “rainstorm”. Today we will learn what is rainstorm, and when rainstorm came, what were you doing?(3) When rainstorm comes, what should we prepare?引出新单词: a flashlight, a candle, matches, a piece of wood / some pieces of wood(wood 此处为不可数名词:木头) Step 2 Scanning (1) Fast reading, and find the topic sentence of the whole passage. Retell the story according to the main sentences we have listed. (1) What was the weather like?(2) What were the people doing before the rainstorm?(3) What were the people doing after the rainstorm?2.Think over the following questions:What things can bring people closer together? How can we help each other in times of difficulty?
