Lesson Plan of Unit 12What did he do last weekend?(Section B 1a-1d)一、 教材内容分析The main content of this unit is talking about weekend activities by using simple past tense such as “What questions” and “Who question” . In this lesson, students will talk and discuss their opinions about the activities happened in the past.Then they will listen and practice the target languages .二、教学目标1. 知识目标:Students will learn some new words and phrases, such as fly a kite.Students will learn the sentence structures, for example: -Who went to the library? -Sally did. -Did you do anything interesting last weekend? -Not really, but I visited my sister. 2. 技能目标:using the past tense and the target language to practice their listening and speaking skills .3.情感目标:By listening and talking about the past activities to practice their listening skills. Students can express their own opinions about past events bravely and freely.三、教学重难点Past tense.四、学生分析They have already learned the simple past tense in the former units. In Section A, they learned the special questions to talk about past events. In this lesson, students will talk about some past events again and express their own opinions and then listen and talk about them .so they will be interested in this topic. But for many students, their listening and speaking skills will be improved.五、教学媒体与资源的选择与应用1.a projector 2.a multi-media computer systemThey are used for showing students some pictures, some audio files, some visual files, some topics or listening tasks.六、教学过程Step 1: Warm up Greet and talk about weather with students.Lead in the weather of last weekend.Show pictures about my last weekends and then ask many different students about their last weekends one by one.T:Last weekend is sunny too,I went to a farm and its so much fun.(show pictures) What about you? What did you do last weekend? And what do you think of your weekends?S1:.S2:.S3:. 【设计说明:开场的问题和图片不仅可以调动学生兴趣,还帮助学生复习已经学过的短语went camping,stayed up late等和句子:What did you do last weekend?为新课的学习做好了铺垫】Step2 Lead inI will present some pictures about some activities happened in the past in our daily life ,such as went to the library, studied for a test , had dinner with friends,.Lead in target language :What did he/she/they do yesterday?Ask as many students as possible to talk about their activities happened yesterday. 【设计说明:通过图片引导学生运用目标语言谈论昨天发生的事情,并且强调学生记住动词过去式,尤其不规则动词,在实际运用中记忆效果会更好,且自然过度到课文1a部分。这样不仅可以吸引学生注意力,而且引导学生在句子中理解和掌握新知识,为新知识的学习创设的情境,符合新课程的要求,也为接下来的短文阅读扫除了障碍。】Step 3 Presentation Dictate and draw in 1a,have students close their books. Dictate each of the activities in the box and have students quickly draw an image to match.Match the activities with the pictures.【设计说明:通过一些发生在过去的活动训练动词过去式,尤其不规则动词过去式的变化。】Step 4 Talking and discussingClass Poll after 1b, elicit how many students liked and disliked each of the activities. Ask students talk and discuss which activity was the most popular,which activities were quite popular,and which activities did not seem popular at all.For example:I think its fun/popular/interesting/boring/terrible.to. . Ask several groups of students to talk about their own opinions.【设计说明:通过有趣的周末活动训练学生的开放性思维,让学生们谈论让然后让学生们谈谈他们的观点,激活学生的思维。】Step 4 Listening1. listen and remember, have students listen and try to remember the answers,writing only after the recording is finished.Then listen again and check the answers. 【设计说明:此环节帮助学生挑战他们的记忆最重要的细节,先记下关键词然后再不全所缺内容,训练学生们的听力技巧(如何边听边做笔记是一项非常重要的听力技巧,教师先做示范如何做,然后多提供机会训练学生这一技能。)】2. Listen and answer questions,the teacher designs several questions ,let students listen and answer the questions: (1). What kind of weekend did Sally have? (2). What did Jim think of Sallys weekend? (3). How was Jims weekend? (4). Why did he say“so school this morning wasnt fun”? 【设计说明:训练学生抓住更多重要细节,充分训练学生的听力能力。】3.Listen and repeat, listen again and imitate the tone and pronunciation,pay attention to the pronunciation of past tense.【设计说明:听录音训练朗读技巧,模仿语音语调。】Step 5 PairworkTalk about what Sally and Jim did last weekend according to the listening.The teacher makes an example with a student,and then make two students in one group ask and answer by using where,when what. .【设计说明:进一步巩固听力内容,充分训练学生们的听说技巧。】Step 6 Production. Language Input is for output.Talk about their own weekend activities,and two students in one group. Then ask several groups to present their conversations.【设计说明:活学活用,运用课上学习的目标语言牵引到学生们自己的生活实际中,学会运用目标语言并大胆的展示出来。锻炼了学生们运用语言的能力。】 Step 7 Exercising 一、短语翻译. 1. 放风筝 _ 2. 和朋友吃晚饭 _ 3. 在游泳池里游泳 _ 4. 去图书馆 _ 5. 复习备考 _ 二、根据汉语提示完成句子。 1. 谁看望了我的姐姐? _ 2.昨天他和他朋友一起吃的晚饭. _ 3. 他正在房间为考试而学习。 _ 4. 在Beckys的生日聚会上,他又唱歌又跳舞? 【设计说明:检测学生课上学习效果,将所学只是落实到笔头,体现听说读写技巧的充分训练。】 Step 8 Homework. Write a short passage about what you and your family did last weekend?
