Matt Knicks (FireWire Warning) is responsible for the development of the play. The show tells a couple discovered that their children were superpowered and their calm life was broken. They had to join in the mutants organization (变种人组织),take the risk and avoid the federal authorities.Next,I will introduce several main characters.Reed：He is a local prosecutor and is specifically responsible for mutant cases（变种人案件）. After discovering his children are mutants, he gradually realized that the mutants suffered from injustice and get into trouble for survival.He was a mutant,but her father cureed him when he was a young boy.Caitlin：She is a nurse who is Reeds wife.She is a hard-line mother and always puts their children and family in the first place.Lauren：She is Reed and Caitlins daughter, Andys sister. She can push the air together to make shields.She discovered her ability 3 years ago ,and she can control her powers well by herself.Andy：He is Reed and Caitlins son, Laurens brother. He has a strong ability of tearing things apart by his powerful mind,but he does not control his powers well by himself.He often use his power when he is angry.Lorna-Polaris：She can control magnetic fields and metals.She is one of the leaders of mutant underground organization(变种人地下组织).She is Magnetos daughter .In the drama,she is Marcoss girlfriend and she is pegnant.Marcos-Eclipse：He is Mexican variants.He can absorb photons(光子)and turn them into light beams.He is one of main members of mutants army(变种人联盟军). Originally abandoned by his parents as a mutant, he later made a living by smuggling drugsClarice-Blink：She is a female mutant who have a ability to create space portals(传送门).Escaped from prison she was taken over by the underground mutants base. However, she cant control her power, and her power is extremely unstable.Johnny-Thunderbird：He is one of leaders of mutant underground organization. He has a good sense of smell,hearing and sight.He is very robust and has well-developed muscles.Sonya：She is a female mutant who can add or delete another persons memory .She also can transplant ones memory into the others mind.However,she died early.Turner：He is a agent and is responsible for catching mutants.He is a cold-blooded person and hate mutants bitterly because his daughter was a victim of a mutant-war.Then, I will show you two short video.The first one is a advertising video.The second video is all about PolarisFinaly,I give my review about this play(the gifts)From the lifes point of view , this is a tragedy because many victims are killed and some mutants actions are too radical and cold.From the mutants point of view, their actions are very straightforward and effective .From my point of view, In the TV drama,
