Step 2 Presentation1.Present pictures one by one on the screen .Have Ss learn the new vocabularies and phrasal verbs .Show some pictures and tell Ss that there are many people who need help and many people help others. Step 3 ListeningWork on Section A 1b.1.Tell Ss to read the sentences in the chart. Make sure they know the meaning of the sentences.listen and number the ways the boy and the girl could help others.2. Play the recording for the Ss to listen and number the ways the boy and girl could help others. _ The girl could visit the sick kids in the hospital to cheer them up. _ The boy could give out food at the food bank. _ The girl could volunteer in an after-school study program to teach kids. _ The boy could help to clean up the city parks.
