PEP6 Unit4 Part B Lets talk【教材解读与学情分析】本课教学内容是2011版PEP教材五年级下册第四单元Part B部分的对话。在Part A部分,孩子们已经学习1到5的序数词,并能用句型When is the? Its on 就中西方主要节日的具体日期进行回答。本课将通过呈现讨论彼此和家人生日的情境,进一步强化对日期进行提问与回答的相关知识。五年级的学生经过两年多的学习,对英语产生了一定的兴趣,也具备了一定量的词汇和较好的语言基础。学生对于基数词还是比较熟悉的,又刚刚在第三单元学过了12个月份、Ill/ Well_.句型,学生的这些已有的语言和知识储备都可以被迁移和运用到本节课中,成为教学的起点,并在此基础上构建新的知识。【教学目标与重难点】(一)教学目标1、知识与能力目标:(1)能够在图片和教师的帮助下理解对话大意。(2)能够运用正确的语音、语调和意群朗读对话。(3)能够在情境中恰当运用核心句型When is your birthday? My birthday is on就生日日期展开回答。(4)能够在情境中运用句型What will you do for your mum? I will cook noodles for her.表达自己能为家人或者朋友做些什么。(5)能够在范文、板书和文本框架的帮助下,制作一张有关生日的思维导图。2、情感态度和文化意识目标(1)重温中国生日小习俗:吃长寿面。(2)关爱自己的家人朋友,从记住他们的生日做起,并为他们做一些力所能及的事情。(二)教学重难点1、能够正确询问他人的生日,并做出相应的回答。2、6-31序数词作为新知在本节课中的运用;both of you的理解及发音。【教学准备】课件、教学卡片【教学过程】学生活动与教师引导活动意图Step1: Warming up and revisionActivity1: Lets sing: The months and free talkT: How many months are there in a year?S: Twelve.(Ss read the month cards on the blackboard) T: Which month is the first month in the year?S: January.T: The fifth month is ?S: May. (Ss read the ordinal numbers from 1st to 5th on the blackboard)Activity2: Know more ordinal numbers.Activity3: Lets chantT: Look, heres a chant for you.Ss chant together.活动1:唱一唱孩子们一起合唱动画歌曲Months, 不仅活跃了课堂的气氛,同时也激活了所学的12个月份单词活动2:认识更多的序数词通过初步认识6-31的序数词,为本课的语言输出打下基础。活动3:Lets chant通过有节奏的chant,解除了上一环节的沉闷,把学生重新拉入活力的课堂,并为下一环节做好良好的铺垫。Step2: Presentation and practiceActivity4: Look for “Lucky Student”1. “My birthday is on ”T: January 1st is a lucky day. Because Miss Ma wants to find the lucky student whose birthday is on January 1st. You can use this sentence “My birthday is on” to answer.T: Whose birthday is on January first? Please hands up.S: My birthday is on January 1st.T: Really? Thats amazing! This star is for you.2. “When is your birthday?”T shows the sentence card and ask Ss to repeat.T: When is your birthday?S: My birthday is on3. Pair workT: When you talk, you should pay attention to your pronunciation and intonation. Your voice should loud. You should face to each other. At last, youd better add some body language.Activity5: Lets try1.Listen and tickShow the picture of the baby.T: Look at the baby. Hes Mikes new cousin. Hes just 15 days old. When is his birthday? Look and answer.T: Look at the picture and tell us “When is Mikes birthday?”S: Its on April 4th.2. Listen and choose.T: Whose birthday is on April 4th ,too? S: Chinese noodles.T: How do you know?S: Mike says “Chinese noodles are delicious.”T: In China, we always eat Chinese noodles on the birthday. So, maybe we can call it birthday noodles. And I love the Chinese noodles. Chinese noodles are delicious. If you love Chinese noodles, you can tell us like this.S: Chinese noodles are delicious. 4. Read and answer.T: What will Chen Jie do for Mike and her mum?Mike and her mum, we can say “both of them”. So, “both of them” in the dialogue means Mike and Chen Jies mum.(Open the books turn to P41)S: Chen Jie will have a birthday party for both of them.T: The key sentence is?S: We can have a birthday party for both of you. (According to the mind map on the blackboard)活动4:寻找幸运儿承接上一环节,通过趣味的寻找幸运儿活动,呈现了本课的主句型When is your birthday? My birthday is on_.3.在同桌进行真实的生日问答中,教师注重培养孩子大方得体的社交礼仪:讲话时应注意语音语调准确;声音清脆响亮;交谈时要目视对方以示礼貌;并且适当的运用一些肢体语言。活动5:Lets try在Lets try 中开始生日思维导图的制作(板书演示) 活动6:Lets talk1、看图观察,回答问题运用教材提供的图片资源,通过问答“When is Mikes birthday? His birthday is on April 4th.来进入文本的学习。同时培养学生运用图片信息解答问题的能力。2、听一听,选一选通过听全文,选出April 4th is Chen Jies mums birthday.来推动学生对Lets talk文本的理解。(1)通过Chen Jie will cook noodles for her mum.自然过渡到What will you do for your mum? Ill _.的真实情境。(2)把文本Chinese noodles are delicious.结合本课话题“生日”,把noodles跟中国的民间习俗“生日要吃长寿面”结合在一起,让学生能了解我们习俗吃面的原因,并加深印象。4.读一读并回答问题通过直观的“相等”,学生也直观明白了both of them的含义,对于文本中的难点both of you的理解切入了一个大点。前面在处理文本时已经进行了一定量的语音语调的练习,再通过跟读、自由读、分角色朗读,对语音进一步巩固,熟练了Lets talk的文本。Step3: Extension and ConsolidationActivity7: Gossip Time1.The warm time with your mums.T: I know, you all have good memory. Do you remember the warm time with your mum? ( Show the pictures)T: Thats your mums. They remember your birthdays and do everything that they can do for you. Because they love you. Do you remember your mums birthday? And what will you do for her? The “Gossip Time” made a survey yesterday. Here is it. (watch the video together)T: Someone remembers, someone forgets. How about you?2.Gossip Time for our class(1) T has the interview with Ss(2) S has the interview with Ss.Activity8: Make a birthday mind map1、 T shows her parents for SsT:They are my parents. I made a mind map to remember their birthdays.2、Group work活动7:八卦时间1、通过一组配乐的亲子照片,渲染了温馨的亲子气氛,让孩子重温起和母亲在一起的美好时光,感受母亲对于他们的爱,并激发起孩子对于母亲的那份爱。播放一段校园“Gossip Time”采访学生的视频,让孩子因为忘记或是不知道自己母亲生日的深感愧疚,进一步渲染气氛。2、通过刚才的一步步渲染下,这时把“Gossip Time”话筒递到孩子面前时,孩子会因为自己能回答得出来而感到由衷的高兴。输出的语言情真意切。活动8、制作一张父母生日的思维导图。教师示范制作父母生日的思维导图,孩子们再自己制作,小组分享,通过教师帮扶,同伴互助,促进学生语言输出。Step4: Homework课后作业有三个,1是常规的熟读、趣配音作业,主要是夯实基础。2是通过动笔完善家人或朋友的生日思维导图,并说家人或朋友听,为的是拓展本课所学。3是一份日久天长的情感作业。【板书设计】【教学反思】本课以学生的原有知识技能以及学生的年龄特点为出发点,关注学生的学习过程和情感态度,力求“以学定教、顺学而导”。一、基于原有的知识技能:本节课主要话题是
