人教版GO FOR IT 七年级下册第九单元 unit 9 What does he look like ? 一、教案背景1,面向学生: 2,学科:英语2,课时:13,学生课前准备:一、 复习生词,会读会写。二、 预习课文,了解课文内容。二、教学课题What does he look like ? 三、教材分析本单元的话题是谈论人的外貌特征。本课的语言材料与人物的五官、高矮胖瘦以及体格有密切的关系,主要讲述与之相关的单词、短语以及描写人物外貌特征所需要的语言,通过让学生学习相关的短语和词汇让学生进一步学习一般现在式的用法 。在本节课的实际教学过程中,教师反复研读教材并进行适当的整合与修改,为学生更好的掌握本节课的重点提供了时间上的保证,有力地突出了重点。(二)教学重点与难点:1、单词:描述人的外貌特征的单词。2、句型:What does he look like ? She is tall . She is heavy . She has curly black hair . She is of medium build .(三) 教学目标根据学生已有的知识基础,本节课的地位及作用和新课标精神特制订以下教学目标: 1、知识目标使学生掌握并熟练运用下列单词:描述人的外貌特征的词,如:big thin heavy curly medium build height blond etc. 等和以上提到的句型。2、技能目标培养学生四会能力及综合运用英语的能力。3、德育目标本节课内容贴近生活,通过教学,让学生会发现生活中的真善美,学会思考问题,热爱生活;通过结对练习、分组合作教学,培养学生的合作意识和创新能力。 四、教学方法任务型教学,围绕核心任务,设定小任务,开展和谐愉悦的课堂活动,强调兴趣第一的原则。五 教学过程在导入环节中,先让学生说出与自己亲近的人的外貌特征,既复习了以前所学内容,又引起学生的兴趣,进而询问高度、体格、发型等问题,从而引入正题。在教学新内容时,力求用精美的图画和真实的声音来创造意境,来处理本节课的新语言形象,用形象生动的视频来展示逼真的外貌特征,采用结对练习、小组合作探究方式,用科学合理的教学过程设计来形成清晰的教学思路,用恰当丰富的评价方式以收到最佳的教学效果,进而培养学生的合作能力和综合运用英语的能力。教学过程:Step 1: RevisionLets the students review the words about the looking they have learnt.Step 2: Leading inAsk students a few questions.T: This boy ,please. Do you have any brothers ?S: Yes. I have one. T: What does he do?S: He is a worker. T: What does he look like? S: He has big eyes. He is fat.T: Ok. Then how to describe his build height and haircut? etc. This class we will study Unit 7 What does he look like? (Show a slide : What does he look like?) Step 3: Pre-taskShow the topic words. (Show six pictures. There are some new words and expressions under them.)First explain the new words and expressions to the students. Then listen to the tape to learn them. Listen again.Step 4: Practice: Listening Show a slide. Lets the students listen to the tape and fill in the chart with the new words and expressions. Listen twice. Then ask them to talk about the answers each other and check the answers. At last tell the right answers to the students.Step 5: While-task. Explain and work in pairs.Show three pictures. Make a dialogue according to one of them . Explain it to the students. Then lets the students make dialogues according to the others. Students work in pairs. They discuss carefully. Then lets some students show their answers to the other students. Ask other students which group is the best. The teacher praise them.Step 6: Practice: Pair work. Show four pictures about some actors . Lets the students work in pairs to describe the famous persons. Ask them to make some dialogues. The students are very careful. First they discuss in pairs. Then ask some students to show their answers to the other students. At last the teacher give the best answers. Tell the students they are very great. So we should learn to them.Step 7: Post-task: Work in pairs.Show a picture. Make a dialogue according to the situation. Ask the students using the words expressions and sentences we have learnt this class. Then they work in pairs. Ask some students to show us.Ask some students to write down their answers. Lets the other students discuss which group is the best. They are the winners. Its fun time. Step 8: SummarySum up what they have learnt.Step 9: Homework 1. Copy the new words and Preview Section B.2. Collect some pictures about your favorite persons and describe them.3. Do a survey about the persons you like or dont like. Tell us the reasons.
