Master new words and phrases:.sitcom, news, soap opera, talk show, talent show, sports show, game showB. Master the following sentences patterns: What do you want to watch? What do you think of talk shows? I cant stand it. I dont mind them. I like/love them. / I dont like them.C. Students can use target language to express their ideas.2. Emotional attitude values: Students can talk about popular culture and choose their suitable TV shows.Learning Outcomes/ objectives (by the end of the session learners will be able to):1. Students can give their ideas about TV shows .2. Students can ask people some ideas about TV shows by using target language.Materials and Resources:Textbook; PPTLanguage Focus Pron, meaning + use. Function, Structure, Vocab etc. 1. Vocab : sitcom, news, soap opera, talk show, talent show, sports show, game show.2. Structure: What do you think of ?I cant stand it.I dont mind them.I like/love them. / I dont like them.Skills Focus (Which specific receptive and productive skills & sub-skills will the learners practise?):Using “Mingle” to ask students to practise the target language.Using “Jigsaw” to ask students to develop the target language.Anticipated problems:(and what I plan to do if they ariseIf some students are unconfident or shy to participate the game ,I will encourage them .Assessment:(how will you check that learning has taken place?)1.
