Period 1 Section A 1a-1c余湾初中 韩银船一、教学目标1. 知识与技能: 1) 学生能理解并掌握关于地点的单词:post, office, post office, police, police station, hotel, restaurant, bank, hospital, street, pay, near。2) 学生能够用简单的英语来表达问路指路。2.过程与方法:1) 充分利用多媒体及图片,创设情境让学生有参与学习的欲望,并且引导学生积极参与课题活动。2) 倡导自主学习和合作学习的相互结合,从而提高学习效率。3. 情感态度与价值观:1) 让学生学习我们生活中经常用到的表示地点的词,并且知道他们的功能。2) 通过小组活动让学生感受合作的愉快。3) 学会问路指路,体验帮助别人的快乐。二、教学重难点1、教学重点:(1)单词和短语post office, police station, hotel, restaurant, bank, hospital, street, pay phone.(2)有关指路的句子-Is there a hospital near here? -Yes, there is. Its on Bridge Street. 2、教学难点:Therebe句型的运用三、教学方法小组合作学习、听力、任务型教学四、教学过程Step 1 Lead-inThe teacher let students think of some words about the places?T: we will learn some other words about the places?Step 2 Presentation1、Studying aims: (1) 重点单词:post, office, police, hotel, restaurant, bank, hospital, street, near. (2) 重点句型: Is there a hospital near here? Yes, there is . Its on Bridge Street.2、New wordsT: Now, look at some pictures on PPT, Can you speak these places in English? Ss: yes!T: Look at the first picture, Which place ?Ss:邮局.T: Now read after me in English, I read one time and you read two times, post office.Ss: Post office, post office! T: How do you spell post office?Ss: P-O-S-T ,O-F-F-I-C-E, post office.T: Very good, lets write it on the blackboard together, p-o-s-t, o-f-f-i-c-e, post office. Read after me, post office.T: Now, look at the second picture, Which place?Ss: 警察局.( Present the words: police station, hotel, restaurant, bank, hospital, street, pay phone)Step 3 1a Match the words with the places in the picture.1.Let the students finish activity 1a and check the answers.2. Practice the wordsT: Can you read the places in1a? Ss: Yes/No, I can/ I cant.T: Lets check it. I read the alphabet and you tell me the name of the place it stands for in English ,Ok?3. At last, check the answers.Step 5 1c Pair work. 1. The teacher read and explain the conversation. -Is there a hospital near here? -Yes, there is. Its on Bridge Street. 2. Let the students make their own conversations with their partners and ask three or four pairs to show them.The teacher can provide some sentence patterns:Step 6 ShowingTherebe结构的陈述句、否定句、一般疑问句及答语Therebe句型表示“某处有某物”“Therebe”意为_.其中be随其后的名词的_而变化,当句中有两个以上的名词作并列主语时,遵循“_”原则,即be的形式由最靠近它的名词的_数来决定。A.肯定句:Therebe+_+地点。B.否定句:Therebe+_+名词+地点C.一般疑问句:_+there+名词+地点?D.Therebe结构的一般疑问句的答语:答语中仍然要用_,一般现在时中,其肯定回答为Yes,_/_,否定回答为No,_/_.E.Therebe结构中的谓语动词是_,而不是have,不可以与动词_(有)混用。Step 7 Exercises(1)There _ (be) a bank of Center Street.(2)There _ (be) some books on the desk.(3)There arent _(some) clothes in the shoe shop.(4)-Is there a police station near here? -_.A、Yes, it is.
