A tape player.V: Teaching procedures: Step 1 Revision &Lead-in Do some exercises to revise the content of Section A and lead in the new lesson.Step 2 Discussion and GroupworkLet the Ss discuss two questions in groups of six.1. What do your parents ask you to do?2. What do you ask your parents permission for?Step 3 Presentation Get the Ss to finish the task of Activity 1a in order to let them know what they should do in this part. Then check the answers.Step 4 Pairwork (Activity 1b)1. Point out the sample conversation, ask two students to read it to the class. Then make their own conversations by using the phrases in 1a with their partners. 2. Give the Ss a few minutes, and then ask some pairs to act out their own conversations in class. Step 5 Listening 1. Activity 1c 1). Ask the Ss to read the instructions and point to the items in 1a. Then listen to the conversation between Sandy and her mom. Check each item they talked about by themselves. 2). Play the recording for twice. Then correct the answers. 2. Activity 1d 1). This activity gives students practice in understanding and writing the target language. 2). Play the recoding again. Let students finish this part. Then correct the answers. Step 6 Role-play & Groupwork1. Finish the task of Activity 1e. Tell the students they will work in groups. First, one student has the party and ask for help to do chores. He or she can ask more than one students for help. After several minutes, ask some groups to act out questions and answers to the class.
