Teaching objectives教学目标After this period, students are able to: Understand their English level by taking this test Be placed to the correct class and get proper education Be aware of their advantages and disadvantages and adjust their learning strategies in study3. Teaching procedures 教学过程 Part 1: Complete the five conversations: (10 points) There are totally 5 questions and students are required to choose the most appropriate answer For example: Would you like a starter with your meal? A. Yes, please. B. I hope so. C. I like it very much Part 2: Read the article about a young swimmer and then answer the questions. (10 points) Read the passage and decide whether the statements are right, wrong or doesnt say. For example: Anna hopes she will become an Olympic swimmer. A. Right B. Wrong C. Doesnt say Part 3: Complete the sentences. Mark A, B or C on your answer sheet. (20 points) There are totally 10 questions in this part which requires students to choose a word to make the sentences meaningful For example: Johns brother _ 12 years old. A. is B. has C. are Part 4: Vocabulary (20 points) Guess the words from the definitions For example: This makes food sweet. s_ _ _ _. And the answer should be sugar Part 5: Cloze. (20 points) The passage is about Ann moving to another school and how she makes friends Read the passage and choose the correct words to fill in the blanks Part 6: Writing. (20 points) Write a short article about a happy trip which you had with your friends. In your writing, you should say: 1. where you travelled2. what did you and your friends do3. why you chose this place4. if you like this trip or not? Why?You need to write at least 100 words4.
