东源县民族中学集体备课主备教师刘运果年级七年级(2)班学科英语教学内容Unit 10 Id like some noodles Section B(2a-2c)Birthday Food Around the World教材分析1、 本话题主要以Birthday Food Around the World并结合相关的生日食物单词和生日活动的短语展开教学。目的是让学生通过阅读短文,明白即使世界各地国家生日食物和活动未必一样,但表达的意义都是相同的,都是希望给过生日的人带来好运和长寿。2、 为了提高学生的英语阅读能力,我将英语阅读方法和做题技巧渗透在相关的阅读步骤和题型教学中。由浅入深,循序渐进地将英语阅读策略一步步的教授给学生,并引导学生正确理解、灵活的掌握相关所学内容。学情分析1、 学生都为初一级学生,个性活泼好动,对游戏、音乐、竞争特别感兴趣,但基础相对较差,出现两极分化现象。对英语阅读理解多数带有畏惧心理,对英语阅读方法和做题技巧更是处于半知不解的状态。2、 为此教学以表扬为主,通过游戏、音乐和小组竞赛等系列教学活动来展开教学,注重培养学生对英语阅读学习的兴趣,鼓励他们多说、多做、多练。争取让全班学生都积极踊跃的参与到课堂上来。教学目标语言目标:1.Words and expressions: Learn and understand the key words and expressions(around the world,answer,different,cake,blow out the candle, make a wish, the UK,get popular).2.Sentence patterns: the students will be able to use “would like” to express their need for food.能力目标:1 To know different birthday food around the world;2Be able to understand and master the reading strategy.情感目标:To train students ability of listening and reading food traditions.教学重点To know different birthday food around the world;教学难点To improve Students reading ability.教学方法communicative teaching methods, group-working methods, reading methods.教学准备computer,multimedia course-ware, blackboardetc.课时安排One period教学过程设计 (第 1 课时)stepsTeachers ActivitiesStudents ActivitiesPurposesStep1Warming-upSing an English song Happy Birthday To You.Stand up ,sing the English song and clap their hands together.To review the words we have learned and made a situation to lead-in the article.Step2Lead-inShow some questions about birthday and ask the students to make a discussion.Watch the questions and tell what do they do or eat on birthday?(group work)To learn some new words and expressions relevant to the text.Step3ScanningFast-readingStep 4Detail-reading1.Whats the main idea of the article?2.Underline and translate the phrases. 3.Read the passage again Write (T) or (F)1.Ask G3 and G4 students to read the second paragraph, G1 and G2 fill in the chart. 2.Show some questions in 2C and let students read the article again and answer the questions. 2.Different birthday food around the world2.Read the article as quickly as they can, then underline and translate the phrases.(2 minutes)3.Check answers:T F F (1 minute)1.Listen, read and finish the chart. then check the answers.2.Read and answer the questions. Then read and finish the blank in groups. (group work)To consolidate the passage.Step 6GamePlay a ball game.Show 6 balls with 10,20,30,40,50 and 60 points.Let students chose one of them. Then finish the exercises in the balls and they can get the points, but if not, they cant get it.Chose the ball and finish the exercises.Play the games to consolidate the language points in the article.Step 7Summary Show a mind-map about the new words expressions and reading strategy.Read some new words ,expressions and master the reading strategy.Know about clearly what we have learned in this class.Step 8Homework 1. Detail-reading, fill in the form and answer the questions, and then know about the events Fast-reading,scan the passage, and then get the main idea. learn the new words,Check T or F.Summary,show a mind-map to summaries the words, expressions and reading strategy.Play games,use the game to do some exercises to consolidation the language points.Homework, make a survey and retell the article.After-reading, know about some language points. 6、 教学反思 本节课我通过八大步骤,由浅入深,循序渐进的对Unit 10 Section B Birthday Food Around the World的阅读理解进行详细的教学,做到重点突出,难点突破。使学生能够在相应的步骤中清楚的掌握英语阅读方法和做题技巧。并克服了他们对英语阅读理解的畏惧心理,增强了他们英语阅读的兴趣,甚至加强了小组团结合作的竞争精神,因而对考试中的阅读理解题不再望
