Does she/he like apples?Yes,she/he does,she/he likes apples.No,she/he doesnt,she/he doesnt like apples.Ability goals:(能力目标)Enable students lean how to talk about their likes and dislikes.3. Emotional goals:(情感目标)(1) Get the students realize the importance of healthy diet.(2)Enable students to communicate with others about likes and dislikes二Teaching difficulty and important points(教学重难点) Important contents:(教学重点)1Master the names of the food2learn to use the target language to ask and answer like and dislike.Difficult contents:(教学难点)Use the words and the target language learned in the class to describe situations in the daily life.三学情分析:通过第五单元的学习,学生已经初步了解了行为动词一般现在时的构成及其使用,本节课主要学习like的相关用法,讨论饮食喜好的话题贴近学生的生活,容易激发学生的学习兴趣,使他们乐于参与相关的英语实践活动。可以采用同桌对话和小组调查的学习方法,来反复练习行为动词的like的用法。在听力环节中可以引导学生总结听力的技巧,掌握规律。再通过本单元学生比较感兴趣的话题的操练,一定会使学生有更深刻的印象。四.Teaching procedure:(教学过程)Step 1 Warming-up (兴趣导入)1. Greetings2. Listen to a song Apple treeApple round, apple red. Apple juicy, apple sweet. Apple apple I love you, Apple sweet I love to eat.Ask students whats the song about. Then lead in the unit 6 Do you like bananas?【教学设计说明】讲授新课之前与学生自由交谈,可以消除学生的紧张感和对英语学习的畏惧感.让学生猜测还能激发学生兴趣,很快把学生的思维引导到本单元的学习中.音乐是大部分学生所感兴趣的,谈论音乐贴近生活,并且让学生有话可说,顺理成章的引入话题.Step 2 Presentation(呈现新知识)1. Teach the new words and their plural forms.Show the pictures of food on the screen one by one. Then teach them: banana-bananas hamburger-hamburgers tomato-tomatoes, ice-cream- ice-cream, salad- salad, strawberry- strawberries, pear-pears, milk-milk, bread-bread2. Introduce hamburger and salad.3. Lead students to read the new words in this period one by one.4. Game: Memory challenge Show some pictures and see who can say the word more quickly.【教学设计说明】图片教学法是呈现新知识最简单有效的方法之一,学生通过图片,能更价值观的理解新单词的含义。此环节重点在新单词及词组的意思和发音上,要尽量让更多的学生张口说英语。Step 3 Activity 1a(完成1a)T: Now, look at the picture in 1a. What can you see in it? S: There are many people and food. T: Right. Look carefully and match the words with the things in the picture. Do it now. if you finish it, hands up.Then check the answers and read these words together.【教学设计说明】通过1a的练习,使学生进一步学会运用新单词。 Step 4 listeningNow, well hear the conversation. You need to listen carefully and number them. Before listening, please have a quick look at the three conversations so that you can know their main ideas. Ill play it twice. The first time, number them. The last time, check your answers. Lastly, read them together.【教学设计说明】此环节着重是听力训练。让学生在听对话的过程中抓住关键词汇,由于前面已做了一些训练,因此学生听起来比较容易,让他们都有一次成功的喜悦和感受,这样可以增强他们的学习自信心。Step 5 Pair work(合作探究)1.PracticeAsk students make their own conversation like these:A: I dont like apples. Do you like apples?B: Yes, I do . Have the students ask and answer. 2.Guessing game : Show students some pictures of Zhao Wei and Harry potter. Guess what they like food or dislike food. T: Does Harry potter like bananas? S: No, he doesnt. He likes hamburgers. T: Does Zhao Wei like pears? S :No she doesnt .She likes apples.3. Work in groups: Show students some pictures. Three students as a group .Make a conversation like this:A:Do you like salad? B:Yes, I do. I like/No, I dont . I dont likeA: Does B like salad?C: Yes,does. She/He likes/ No,doesnt. She/He doesnt like.Ask several pairs to talk about their likes and dislikes.【教学设计说明】此环节为机械操练,使不同层次学生初步掌握目标语言。机械操练是英语初始阶段教学必不可缺的部分,学生要先从模仿到初步掌握,最后才能熟练应用。由于机械操练比较简单,因此是激发后进生兴趣,培养后进生自信的一个很好的途径。Step 6 Make a food survey(小组调查)T:Im going to have a birthday party,so I want to buy some food ,fruits and drinks.
