人教版PEP小学英语五(下)第五单元Unit 5 When is Easter? Part A Lets spell 王钰 (合肥市新安江路小学,电子信箱:) 一、教材分析本节课是人教版PEP小学英语五年级内容,供小学五年级学生下学期使用。第五单元是的主题是“When is Easter”,而Lets spell是五年级这册书每个单元必不可少的发音学习部分。本单元Lets spell主要学习th的发音规则,由于小学五年级的学生有了一定的词汇量,所以整合了th发音的大量单词,学生通过分辨学习从而掌握th的发音规则,并通过发音能够拼写出单词。二、学情分析小学五级的学生,由于还是学习英语的起始阶段,学生兴趣虽然很浓,但是英语综合素质仍十分薄弱,针对这些特点,在本节课上,教师应用课件PPT希沃授课助手软件等新媒体新技术,通过搭建有效学习支架激活学生资源库,让学生参与,体验,观察,思考和应用,循序渐进地学习单词、句型,操练语言,和学生互动,最终达到拓展英语思维和提高语言表达能力。三、教学目标1知识与技能 1)能够学习th在单词中的发音规则;能够跟着录音说唱歌谣,强化记忆th的发音规则。 2)能够根据th的发音规则读出生词;能够通过听录音、圈单词、读单词的活动,观察th在词首、词中和词末的发音,强化th的音形对应关系。 3)能够按照th的发音规则拼写出单词。 4)能够在单线上完成抄写句子的活动,做到书写规范正确。2过程与方法 使用课件PPT以及希沃授课助手新媒体技术进行教学,通过学习、感知、体验、模仿、探究,充分调动学生的感观,培养学生的观察力,注意力,想象力。3情感态度与价值观 通过课件调动学生学习英语的积极性和主动参与性,培养学生英语学习的兴趣,从而掌握单词的学习。并能在教师的引导下,根据教材延伸说唱歌谣和制作生日提醒卡,并从小学会爱家人,拥抱亲情。在新媒体技术的支持下,能积极参与语言实践活动,在活动中树立学习英语的信心,获取成功的体验。四、教学重难点1教学重点 1)能够根据th的发音规则读出生词。2)能够按照th的发音规则拼写出单词。2教学难点 (1)单词、句型的正确发音。(2)熟练运用所学内容进行交流,运用。五、教学策略与手段本节课通过语境的设置,整堂课通过故事引领,多媒体游戏闯关过程贯穿课堂。注重将信息技术与小学英语学科进行整合教学,充分发挥计算机多媒体辅助教学的作用,将其生动的形象,多变的风格吸引学生的注意力,教学设计根据五年级学生的年龄、心理特点进行教学,本课时设计了让学生闯关的游戏贯穿整节课堂,每个环节中让学生在不同的环境中大胆地使用所学语言,所定学生的注意力,并在反复的操练中熟练掌握和运用语言。利用课件PPT及希沃授课助手软件为学生搭建合理的学习互动支架,引导学生由易到难,理解词汇和会话,运用语言。然后通过目的明确,层层递进的教学活动引导学生进入拓展互动活动,引导学生积极主动思考并参与课堂活动,在语言实践中学习英语,交流运用;培养学生的创造性思维,提升语言交流能力。六、教学过程 教学环节教师活动学生活动设计意图Step 1 Warming Up1) Tell students I will tell them a story this class. The story is about their favorite Peppa pig. Peppa pig likes Easter very much. Ask student when is Easter. Its natural to lead into this class. Have students try their best to help Peppa pig get the Easter eggs. Design 6 game passes to have students rush. 2) Divide students into two passes. Have students rush the game passes team by team. The first game is to play a turntable game. The second game is to play a gopher game. Have them review months and the cardinal numbers.The third game is to play a turntable game to review some festivals. Teacher asks When is the _? Have student answer. 1) Answer the Easter date. Its on April 16th. Read and spell the word: sixth. Try their best to help Peppa pig get the Easter eggs. Rush the first and second game passes. 2) Rush 3 game passes. Read and review the words and sentences of this unit. Every pass they succeed, they will get one Easter egg for Peppa pig. 1) 复习本单元重点单词,即月份和序数词,为本课的单词应用及日期表达打基础。2) 设计了让学生闯关的游戏贯穿整节课堂,复习学过的节日的日期表达,既复习了词汇,又为本课相关词汇的学习做了准备,为下一步语境设计做铺垫。学生每次闯关成功都将为小猪佩奇获得一个复活节彩蛋。Step 2Words presentation about the phonetic/1) Ask students student “ Do you want to know Peppa Pigs family members? Show Peppa Pigs family members pictures. Have students learn and spell some words about the pronunciation /. 2) Continue to set up the language environment and visit Peppas house. Show some pictures and words about /. 3) Integrat the words about the pronunciation of /. Have students read and spell them. 1) Get to know Peppas family. Learn to spell some words, such as: this father mother they together. These words conclude the th which sounds /.2) Learn to read the words related to the /th/ pronunciation, such as: this that these those. 3) Read and spell. h elp Pippa pig get the fourth egg.通过设置语境,带领学生认识小猪佩奇的一家并参观小猪佩奇一家的房子、卧室、玩具房、书架等,将关于th 发音/的单词整合到课件中,让学生在语境中自然的学习英文,在主题话题的引领下,围绕话题,运用语篇,去学习语言知识,再用游戏环节复习该部分词汇,使得英语学习不再枯燥乏味。Step 3 Prununciation practice1) Design the fourth game pass to practice the words. 2) Show a birthday flash chant. Have student enjoy and say. Have student pay attention to the sound of /th/ and the the answer to the birthday question. 1) Rush the fourth game pass. Read the words. 2) Enjoy a flash chant. Say the chant and pay attention to some /th/ words. Review hwo to ask and answer about the birthday.继续帮助小猪佩奇获得彩蛋,进入第四关,练习th发音;通过说唱 chant环节,仍然将本课的重点词汇和句型融入到chant中,潜移默化地让学生练习发音,并自然导入下一步提问生日的句型。Step4Words presentation about the phonetic /1) Show a big birthday cake picture. Ask students “ Do you know “Whose birthday is it?” Continue to set up the language environment: ask and answer their birthday. Show some pictures and words about /. Through the clause of the birthday quiz and the introduction of the related family. Show some pictures and words about the pronunciation of /. 2) Integrat the words about the pronunciation of/. Have students read and spell them. 1) Get to know Peppas familys birthday . Learn to spell some words, such as: birthday tenth three thin Thursday math. Have student pay attention the right pronunciation.2) Design a classifying game pass. 1) Watch a flash. Read the word correctly. 2) Put the right word into the right house. Succeed to help Peppa pig to get the sixth Easter egg. 通过chant复习巩固本课新知;再通过课件设计归类游戏,让学生打乱的词汇按照发音归类,总结了本课的发音。Step 7 Language production and applicationBroadcast a birthday song. Ask students “Whens your birthday?” “Whens your fathers birthday?” “Whens your mothers birthday?” Have students answer and make a birthday reminder card. Sing a birthday song after the ppt. Answer: My birthday is on _. My fathers birthday in on_. My mothers birthday in on _. Make a birthday reminder card for their family. 语言拓展和应用,通过制作生日提醒卡并介绍家人生日,巩固运用所学语言,并升华情感,让学生从小学会爱家人,拥抱亲情。Step 8 Homework1) Read and spell the word on page 40.2) Find other /th/ words about the different pronunciation.
