人教版新目标八年级上Unit 3 Im more outgoing than my sister.Section B 2a-2bReadingTopic: Should friends be the same or different?教学设计江西师大附中胡倩新目标八年级上Unit 3 Im more outgoing than my sister.Section B 2a-2b教学设计本课是Unit3 Section B 第二课时,课型为阅读课。本课主题是Should friends be the same or different?一、教材分析教材让学生通过体验、实践、参与、探究和合作第方式感悟、发现并总结语言规律,有效学习语言知识,培养语言学习的策略和能力。那么本课教学设计就应该遵循这一语言学习的规律开展教学。Unit3主要是形容词比较级的学习和运用,在整套教材中占有重要地位。本节课是unit 3 Section B第二课时的内容,其中心话题围绕Talk about personal traits and compare people这个题材开展多种教学活动。Section B主要是语言的学习、巩固和运用阶段。这节课是以阅读为核心整体设计的。2a是阅读前的预热活动,2b是读中理解活动。2b让学生阅读文章并理解其大意,然后思考自己对待朋友的观点。本课的活动设计体现了阅读前、阅读中和阅读后的完整阅读教学过程。话题贴近学生日常生活,容易激起学生学习兴趣。二、学情分析学生们已在Section A部分学习了如何运用形容词描述人和运用比较级来对比人们之间的不同,学生有一定的英语单词和句子基础,Section B是通过另一个话题来激发学生运用比较级,巩固所学比较级的用法。学生通过小组活动进行学习,具备基本的自主学习能力。三、教学目标:1语言知识目标:1)要求大部分学生能掌握以下单词: serious, mirror, as long as, necessary, be different from, both, though, bring out, grade, the same as, saying, reach, hand, touch, heart, fact, in fact. 2)要求大部分学生能掌握以下句型:You dont need a lot of them as long as they are good.Larry is quite different from me. A true friend reaches for your hand and touches your heart.3)要求大部分学生能够掌握阅读短文获得正确的信息的能力。4)要求70%80%的学生能具备阅读短文后完成相关任务的能力。 2情感态度价值观目标:了解自己对朋友的看法,明确自己需要什么样的朋友。四、教学重难点1教学重点:1)掌握本课时出现的生词及表达方式。2)阅读短文,训练学生运用阅读策略获得相关信息,提高学生们的综合阅读能力。2教学难点阅读短文,获取相关信息,并将信息运用并学会表达自己对朋友的看法。五、教法教法:视听教学法,任务教学法,略读和精读的阅读策略。六、教学过程:Step1, Lead-in1. Teacher and students greetings.2. Teacher introduces a famous saying about friend. Students guess the topic of todays class.(导入过程中渗透新词saying,让学生领悟saying的含义)Step 2,Teacher talks about a good friend. Talk about the similarities and differences between them.(引导学生说出描述朋友的形容词,并且说出朋友之间的相同和不同。)Step 3, BrainstormingWho is your best friend? What is your best friend like?Teacher asks students to describe their friends. (引导学生说出他用来描述朋友的形容词,复习书上关于人物描述的形容词。)Step4, Pair work1. Teacher asks students to tell their differences with their best friends.2. Teacher gives an example.(引导学生运用这些重点形容词的比较级来说与朋友的不同之处。复习比较级的用法,学生有了知识的热身,在下步阅读中出现朋友的对比,学生的阅读障碍减少。)Step5, Thinking: Should friends be the same or different? (有了大量的热身和准备,学生对待本课的主题有了自己的看法。为阅读做好准备。)Step6, Reading (一)Read it quickly, find out peoples opinions. Teacher asks students to read the first sentence of each paragraph and find out different opinions.(仅阅读每段的第一句话,渗透略读技巧。)(二)Read it carefully. Find the details. Jeff Green:Tell true (T) or false (F).1. Jeff is less serious than most kids. 2. Jeff and Yuan Li are both quiet. 3. It is easy for Jeff to make friends. Huang Lei: Find the differences between Huang Lei and Larry.Huang Lei likes _ and he always gets_ grades.Larry is taller and_. He is much less_. He plays_ better, and always_. Mary Smith: Whats Carol like?Carol is_ and _, she can _and _, she _ about Mary.1. Teacher asks students to read each paragraph carefully and find the details to fill in the blanks.2. Find out their sayings about friends. Jeff Green: _Huang Lei: _Mary Smith: _1. Teacher explains the word “saying”, ask students to find out the sayings about friends.2. Teacher asks students about some important phrases in these sayings.(提出生词saying,帮助学生掌握文中出现的重点短语。再次回顾他们三人对待朋友的不同观点,为下面学生提出自己对待朋友的观点做好准备。)Step7, Friend wanted.Jimmy、Mary and Peter want to make friends with you, after watching their self-introduction, who do you want to make friends with?Step8, Who do you want to make friends with? Why? I want to be a friend of (Jimmy/ Mary/ Peter), I think friends should be (the same/ different) _.Group leader: In my group, * is the most popular friend. * wants to be a friend of (Jimmy/ Mary/ Peter). He or she thinks friends should be (the same/ different)(通过这个找朋友环节,让学生充分表达自己对待朋友的不同观点,对整堂课中所学习的形容词,形容词比较级以及朋友该选择一样的还是不一样的这一主题,有了一个总结性的练习和回顾,总结了整堂课的重点。)Step9, Homework1. Finish the evaluation form.2.
