Section A (1a-2c) The First Period作者及工作单位滁州市第六中学 许金红教材 分析本单元的主题是“家庭成员”,在这一单元里,学生们将学习如何用英语来介绍自己的家人和朋友,单元的话题与他们的生活息息相关,他们学起来会比较轻松,也能激发他们的学习兴趣。在Section A 这一部分,学生们将学习家庭成员的英文名称并介绍他们,要掌握以下重点句型:This is my friend .That is my family. These are my brothers Those are my parents. Who is she? She is my sister. 在这一部分中,学生们需注意this与these, that与those 的区别和用法。学情 分析初一的学生在小学阶段都学过英语,学生学习了26个英语字母,一些单词和一些基本的问候语,一些学生对家庭成员的英语单词可能很熟悉,学起来比较轻松,但因各个学校对英语重视程度的不同以及学生对英语接受能力的不同,学生能力具备情况不一,通过本单元的学习,使学生学会用英语介绍家人和朋友,掌握指示代词的用法和名词的复数形式。 教学目标1、知识目标:词汇:sister mother father parent brother grandmother grandfather grandparent family those who these句型:This is my friend. These are my brothers That is my grandfather. Those are my parents. Who is she? She is my sister.语法:指示代词this that these those 的用法,人称代词的主格和名词的复数形式。2、能力目标:运用目标语言知识介绍家人和朋友,提高学生的交际能力和听说能力。3、 情感目标:培养学生尊老爱幼,热爱自己的家庭,热爱生活的美好品质。教学 重点和难点教学重点:1、 The names of various members of a family.2、 The drills of introducing family members:This/That is These/Those are Who is she? She is教学难点:How to make students master the new words and sentence patterns and use them correctly?教学过程教学环节教师活动预设学生行为设计意图Step1 Leading-in Greet the whole class and play The Family Songfor students to listen and sing.Students are happy to listen to the song. They can sing it with the tape.Create an English situation. Motivate studentslearning interest.Step2 PresentationShow students the teachers family photo and introduce the family members to the students using the sentence patterns: This isThese areThat isThose areWho is she? She isTeach students the new words.Students are excited to look at the picture and listen to the teacher . Students learn the new words.Show students a family photo and present the new words and the sentence patterns.The students are ready to accept the target language.Step3 PracticingAsk students to look at 1a and match the words with the people in the picture.Students look at the picture and match the words with the people.Set the scene. Test students knowledge and increase their vocabulary.Step4 Listening and doing(1b,1c)Play the tape twice. The first time students just listen. The second time circle the words they hear. Then ask students to role-play the conversation in 1a. Students listen to the tape and match the words .Then role-play the conversation. Some pairs are encouraged to give their performances.Improve students ability of listening and communicating.Step5 Listening (2a,2b)Play the tape for students to listen and do exercises.Students listen to the tape and finish the listening task.Help students recognize the target language in natural speech and give students practice in listening for specific items in conversations.Step 6 Doing pair work( 2c)Ask students to work in pairs and make dialogues about the photo in 2b. They can also use their own family photos to make dialogues. Choose some pairs to act out their dialogues and see which group is the best.Students are excited to work in pairs and make dialogues .They are eager to show themselves.Give students chance to show themselves and also train studentsability of co-operation and exploration.Step 7SummaryThe teacher guides students to go through the contents of this period. The students sum up the contents of this period themselves. Bring the initiative of the students into full play.Consolidate what they have learnedStep 8 HomeworkAssign homework:1、learn the new words and the target language by heart.2、Introduce family members to others.3、Do something to show your love to your family.The students will do their best and finish the tasks.Strengthen and widen students knowledge.板书 设计Unit 2 This is my sister.
