Over fluxing can cause unit failure.焊膏用量要少或谨慎使用。过量会引起机组故障。Gas cylinder settings (Oxygen and Propane (LP):气体设置(氧气和丙烷(LP):Oxygen regulator should be set between:18 - 22 psi氧气调节器设置范围:18 - 22磅/平方英寸LP regulator should be set between:10 - 12 psi低压调节器设置范围:10 - 12磅/平方英寸Torch Flame Setting:火焰的设置:Correct Setting正确的设置Joint Prep:预焊:Braze joints shall be cleaned with an abrasive cloth or a brush that is the proper size for the I.D. of the swaged tube. Wipe debris from tube after brushed clean.焊接接头应用砂布或内径大小合适的毛刷打磨清洁。清洁后碎屑要擦干净。1. Nitrogen purge:氮气吹扫: A nitrogen purge tube will be at each torch station that brazes refrigerant circuits. 氮气吹扫应用在每一个焊接的制冷剂回路。 It is not necessary to nitrogen purge a water circuit. 水通路没必要用氮气吹扫。 The nitrogen purge pressure will be set between 2 5 psi on the flow regulator.在流量计上氮气吹扫压力设置在25磅/平方英寸之间。Inset Nitrogen line in the end of the tube 在管的一端插入充氮气管Here the Nitrogen line is inserted into the Receiver这里的充氮气管插入接收器1. Pre-Heat and Brazing Process for Vertical down position:预热和垂直方向的焊接方法:a. Preheat the tube that has been inserted into the swage using a sweeping motion about 1” from the end of the fitting, being careful not to overheat the tube.扫动火焰预热内管端头约1英寸长度并将内管插入外管,注意不能过热。b. Now move the flame to the base of the fitting. Use a sweeping motion to heat the fitting evenly and bring the joint to brazing temperature. Pre-Heat and Brazing Process for Horizontal position:预热和水平焊接方法:a. Preheat the tube that has been inserted into the swage using a sweeping motion about 1” from the fitting.扫动火焰预热内管端头约1英寸长度并将内管插入外管。b. Now move the flame to the base of the joint and with a sweeping motion heat the joint.现在移动火焰到接点底部并扫动火焰加热接头。c. Flux removal:助焊剂去除:The joint can be cleaned free of flux using a wet cloth and / or a stainless steel wire brush.接头可以用湿抹布或者钢刷子清洁干净。It is very important to remove all flux residue from the braze joint. Flux has an acidic reaction and will turn the base metal green over time causing the joint to eventually fail.从焊接头清除所有的助焊剂残留物很重要。助焊剂具有酸性反应,会将金属基体变成绿色,最后焊接点会失效。Brazing Operator Audits:焊接操作员考核:1. The brazing instructor will audit all brazing operators annually.焊接指导员要一年一次对焊接操作员进行考核。2. Operator audits will be held as follows:操作员考核按以下进行:a. Each operator will braze 3 vertical and 3 horizontal coupons - samples.每个操作员焊接3个垂直样品和3个水平样品。b. 2 vertical and 2 horizontal coupons will be sectioned in half to perform a visual inspection.
