Words and phrases.2. How to make use of topic sentences to find the information.教学过程Step 1 Warming up and lead-inShow students the learning objectives of this unit.1. Learn some important phrases(短语).2. Learn some reading skills(技巧).3. Learn to love and protect(保护) animals. Play a video about animals in danger to let students know that we should love animals.Step 2 ReadingTask1-1 Pre-reading (2a)First ask students to read the words together and then ask students to check () the animals they think are in great danger. Ask some students opinions. Students should answer like this: I thinkandare in great danger.Show a picture of an elephant and ask.T: What is it?S: Its an elephant.T: Where are elephants from?S: Theyre from Africa.T: Yes, elephants are from Africa. But they can from another country, do you know what country it is?Task1-2 Pre-reading (New words & pharases) Show a picture of a flag of Thailand and sayT: Elephants can from this country, do you know what country is it? Show more pictures and teach the phrases to help students to understand the passage.
