Section A (3a-3c)教学目标:1.通过阅读训练,培养学生在英语文章中获取信息的能力,提高阅读的效率。2.学会遇到问题向有经验的人寻求帮助。3.处理好与家人的关系。教学内容:1.Language points and focus:get on with,relation,communication,argue,cloud,elder,instead,whatever,nervous,offer,proper,secondly,communicate,explain,clearWhen they argue, its like a big black cloud hanging over my head.You should explain that you dont mind him watching TV all the time.2.The reading strategy: guessing the words meanings in the article.重点难点:1. 教学重点:1) 掌握本部分出现的生词和词组,达到熟练运用的目标。2) 阅读短文,获得相关的信息。通过阅读练习提高阅读能力。2. 教学难点:1) 阅读短文,获得相关的信息的能力。2) 理解并运用所学的词汇及表达方式。学情分析:本课的教学内容是人教版八年级英语下册第四单元的第二课时。阅读部分是这节课的核心内容,它的任务不仅是训练和提高阅读技能,也涵盖了实际交际、语法、和知识点等内容,同时它还包含着教会学生如何处理人际关系、健康成长等深层含义。教学思路:培养学生正确的阅读习惯,为不破坏整体的语感,如果生词不影响对文章主要内容的理解,我们便可以将它们略过,继续阅读。如果了解这些词语的意思对正确理解文意很重要,这时,我们就必须根据上下文的联系,对它们的意义进行猜测,使之不影响对整篇文章的阅读理解。通过练习提高猜测词义的能力。教学过程:Step 1 Greeting and reviewing Ss: Good morning,teacher. T : Good moring,class.Lets enjoy the song “lonely”. Do you ever feel lonely? When I feel only, I will eat dinner with my friends,What do you usually do when you have problems?Look at the pictures,talk about the problems and give some advice.1. She has too much homework so she doesnt have any free time to do things she likes.Why not go camping with her friends this weekend?2. She has to study too much so she doesnt get enough sleep.Why doesnt she go to sleep earlier this evening?3. She got into a fight with her best friend.She should call up her friend first.4.They feel nervous before the exams.They could listen to some music . Talk about your problems and let your partner give you some advice.Talk about problems:1.Whats the matter with ? 2.Whats wrong with ? Give advice: 1.Why dont you +do ? 2.Why not +do?3.You should do.4.You could do .Step 2 Presentation the new words1. relation n. 关系;联系;交往e.g. Our relation is very close 我们的关系很亲密。2. argue v. 争吵;争论e.g. The couple began to argue about the childs education.那对夫妇开始就孩子的教育问题争吵。3. proper adj. 正确的;恰当的e.g. Its not proper to visit a friend too late in the evening. 太晚了,去看朋友不合适。4. clear adj. 清楚易懂的;晴朗的e.g. He writes a very clear article. 5.explain v. 解释;说明e.g. She explains to me how to use the computer.6.get on with 和睦相处;关系良好(相当于get along with) e.g.Do you get on with your parents? 7. (1) intead adv. 代替;反而;却e.g. If you cant go, I will go instead. (2) intead of + n / pron / doinge.g. I want to get this job intead of Sam / him. She will go shopping intead of staying at home. 8.offer v.主动提出;自愿给予e.g. The driver offers to drive us to the bus station.Step 3 Lead in一、通过问答一些有关家庭生活的问题来导入正题:1. Can you get on well with your family?2. Are the relations between your parents good?3. Do you have any brothers or sisters? Can you get on well with him/her?4. Who do you ask for help when you have problems?Step 4 ReadingWork on 3a: 1. Listen to the recording, skim the passage, then find out the general idea(大意) of the passage. The general idea of the passage is about ( )A. the relation with parents.B. the relation with brother.C. the problems with family and how to deal with(处理)them.2. Tell Ss to read the article in 3a again and try to find the answers to these questions: Whats the topic(中心) sentence? Whats the boys problem? Whats Roberts advice?方法指导:带着问题,然后快速阅读短文,争取在较短的时间内,找到答案。学生们,按老师指导的方法进行阅读,并快速回答这两个问题。最后,教师让部分学生回答答案,并校对答案。2. Ss read the article again and fill in the chart.学生们认真阅读短文,并在表格中填出男孩Sad and Thirteen面临的问题,并填写出罗波特先生所给出的建议。和同学们一起校对答案。3.
