Why? 2) Do you know how many kinds of animals are endangered? I ride a bike now.三、拓展延伸1.词语分析运用。 But its hard to stop riding in cars. 但停止驾车很难。 解析(1):本句it是作形式主语,真正的主语是后面的动词不定式。当动词不定式作主语时,常用it作形式主语,而将真正的主语即动词不定式放在句子后面,以避免“头重脚轻”现象,保持句子平衡。如: 学好英语不容易。 帮助他人是件好事。 解析(2):stop doing sth意为“停止做某事”,表示停止正在做的事,而stop to do sth. 意为“停下来去做某事”,表示停下(正在做的事)去做另外一件事。如: 老师进来时,我们停止了讲话。 他停了下来看了看天空。 stop sb. (from) doing sth. 阻止某人做某事=prevent sb. from doing sth.2.能力拓展。阅读理解运用。 Today, we are living a much better life than before, but still were facing new problems. The earth we live on is being changed. Waste water is poured into rivers. Fish are dying. Smoke from factories is so thick that we have no fresh air to breathe. Trees are cut down everywhere. Birds lose their homes. Its time for us to do something useful for our environment. Its our duty to protect our planet.
