Learn a new grammar “Present perfect tense”.【学习工具】Learning tools An English book,some pictures and books.【学习过程】Learning StepsStep 1Preview and perception【预习感知】Ask the students to read the new vocabularies and name of the six new books. Try to remember them as quickly as students can.Step 2 Lead-in【情景导入】 Teacher: Books are our friends. Every time when we begin to read a new book, its just like to go on a different journey. I hope everyone can get a lot from reading. Lets begin our todays journey of reading. Watch a short video about some famous books in the world.Then have a free talk.“Do you like reading books? /How many books have you read ?/ Whats your favorite book?”Step 3 Exploration and Find【探究与发现】Show the six books one by one, choose some students to read the main ideas of the books, in order to find out the key words of them. And try to remember these books quickly.Step 4 Practice【句型操练】Ask students practice the following sentenses.-Have you read these books? -Yes,I have. / No, I havent. Step 5 Grammar【语法讲解】The usage of the Present perfect tense.And watch some examples. Step 6 While-task【过程任务】1. Page 57,1a &1b.Look at the pictures.Have you heard of these books? Check the ones you know.2.Listening comprehension. Page 57,1b.Play the tape and ask the students to listen and find the answers in 1b.Ask some students to check the answers.Step 7 Pairwork【对话练习】Look at Page 57,1c.Focus on the conversation in the box.Practice the conversations.Have you read Treasure Island yet?Yes,I have./ No,I havent.Whats it like?Its fantastic.Has Tina read Little Women yet?Yes,she has.She thinks it is fantastic.Step 8 Listening comprehension【听力练习】1.Look at Page 58,2a&2b.Play the recording for the first time.Students listen and find the answers in 2a. Check the answers.2.Play the recording a second time and say:Listen again and write T for true and F for false in 2b.3.Ask one or two students to check the answers.Step 9 Groupwork【小组合作】Make a story about book, then show it. Scene1 school , classmates, teacher / Scene 2 home , children , mom Scene3 poor children, mountain / Scene 4 beggar(乞丐) millionaire(百万富翁)Step 10 Summary【课堂小结】Help students remember what have learnt in this class.Step 11 Emotional sublimation 【情感升华】Books are our friends.
