The customer would like a medium bowl.Check the answers and ask Ss to retell or role-play the conversation.教师在3a阅读之后进行以下知识点的讲解:1.would like的用法1)就餐或购物等情形下征询意见的固定短语。在这里would是情态动词,无人称和数的变化,在陈述句中可以与主语人称代词构成缩写。(I would=Id; He would=Hed;She would=Shed; They would= Theyd .)。例如: What would you like for lunch? Id like some bread and milk. What would he like? Hed like a hot dog.2)这种句式的一般疑问句为Would you like?一般回答为Yes, thank you. / Yes, please.或No, thank you./No, thanks.3) would like后接不定式to do sth.还可以表达“想去做某事”。例如:Id like to go swimming.Me too.2. tomato在变成复数的时候需要加-es,类似的还有:potatoes, heroes3. medium中等的;半熟的He is of medium height.
