Lets chant!2. watch a video.Step 2 Presentation1、 Play a game. Guessing game.2、 Let the students guess what it is or what they are. Suggest the students by using “It is/ They are used for.”3、Show a picture of a camera and present the sentence structures.A: What is the camera used for?B: Its used for taking photos.4、Show the pictures of a telephone, some watches, and some keys, present the structures in the same way. A: What is/are the . used for?B: Its/Theyre used for .Step3 PairworkPractice this sentence structure.A: What is/are the . used for?B: Its/Theyre used for .Step 4 Presentation1、Show some pictures and guess who invented it. T: There are also many other inventions in the history museum. Lets go to visit them.a) T : What is it ? It is papermaking. b) T : What is it ? It is a light bulb.c) T : What is it ? It is a plane.d) T : What is it ? It is a calculator.2、Guess who invented them.T: Who invented the papermaking/ the light bulb.?Then match the answers.3、Present the sentence structure. T: Who invented it? (Another way , we can also say)= Who was it invented by? T: Cai Lun invented it. At first , let us review the years.Let the students read the years one by one.2、Listen and match the inventions with the dates. When was it invented? Do 1b.Then check the answers.3、Work in pairs.
