Unit 7 Teenagers should be allowed to choose their own clothes.Section A 3a Mom knows best【设计理念】本课选自九年级英语第七单元A部分的3a课文,体裁为一首优美的诗歌, 诗歌的主题是“体会母爱,感恩母亲”。这一话题贴近生活,为学生所熟悉。那么,适当的引导和合理的课堂活动可以让学生学会理解母亲,体谅母亲,关爱母亲。同时也让学生的英语技能得到充分锻炼。整堂课的设计以学生活动和练习为主;通过师生互动和生生互动,让学生成为课堂的主宰,让课堂成为学生自由学习的天地。同时,兴趣的培养是孩子们学习的动力,因此如何能够最大限度提高学生的积极性也是本课课堂设计的重点。【教学目标】教学目标为以下三个方面:1让学生通过听、读、说、想来理解一首诗歌;2让学生学会谈论“体会母爱,感恩母亲”这一话题;3通过欣赏诗歌让学生理解母爱并学会感恩父母。【教学思路】本课选自九年级英语第七单元A部分的3a课文,内容围绕着一首关于母爱的诗歌展开。首先,本节课的第一个环节由一名学生以“daily report”的形式描述自己的母亲,让全班学生就“母亲在我心目中的形象”这一话题畅所欲言,从而自然的导入本课主题:Mom knows best。然后,开始鉴赏诗歌,通过听、读、还原句子等多种课堂活动引导学生理清诗歌脉络,共同理解诗歌含义。第三步,通过跟读模仿、配乐朗诵让学生体会诗歌的结构、韵律及诗歌抒发情感的方式,从而让学生对诗歌的写作形式形成初步的认识。接下来,通过欣赏英文歌曲“You raise me up”牵引学生的情感对父爱的伟大产生共鸣。最后一个反馈环节,由学生将自己创作的感恩父母的一首小诗,写在卡片上并张贴到“丰收的亲情树”上,从而使课堂得到进一步升华。 以上是本节课的教学思路,在课堂上,我尽量从各个方面培养学生听、说、读、写的能力;也尽量采取不同的方式充分调动学生的积极性,体现新课标里所要求的合作学习的重要性。【教学流程】 Greeting Hello, boys and girls! How are you today? Presentation1. Invite one student to give a daily report about her mom.T: So, what is your mother like in your idea?2. Listen to the poem and think about what the title means. Reading Practice1. Read the poem aloud and find out the different periods the writer remembered.T: What are the different times?Ss: When I was a baby, a child, a teen, now, I am an adult.T: Thats right. At these different periods, what did I do and what did the mother do?Invite three students to come to the front to put up sentences behind the right periods on the blackboard.2. Read the poem again carefully and answer the three questions on the paper.Discuss the answers in groups and ask some students to check the answers. Read the poem with thankful feelings.T: Now, everybody, please stand up! Read the poem with your partner.Ask two pairs of students to read the poem with beautiful music in front of the class. Enjoy a song You Raise Me Up.T: While you are listening, please pay attention to the lyrics.T: You Raise Me Up is repeated for many times. It has two meanings: one is you bring me up from a little baby to an adult. The other meaning is you encourage me to be brave, so I can face any difficulties.So, what is the song written for?S1: It is written for moms.S2: It is written for fathers.T: Thats right. Its written for parents. Write a short poem or some sentences to your parents on the card and later stick your apple on the tree. Invite some students to read their cards in the front and stick them on the tree.Encourage all the students to come to the blackboard to stick their apples with best wishes on the tree. ConclusionT: As we all know, our parents love us more than anyone else in the world. They spend a lot of time and money on us but how can we return the love?Frist, lets give the beautiful apple tree with our best wishes to them as a gift. Do you agree?Also, I think we should try our best to be successsful persons and let them be proud of us in the future? Right? HomeworkWrite a letter to your parents to express your thanks.【课后反思】整堂课教学设计思路基本清晰流畅,在课堂活动安排中衔接比较自然,学生配合很到位,在老师的引导下基本达到预期的教学目标,在听、说、读, 写四个方面都得到了锻炼,尤其是最后一个给父母写首小诗的环节起到了画龙点睛之效。但是,在各环节的细微之处还有待雕刻,比如在听You Raise Me Up这首歌的环节上,由于问题设置较为简单,没有更进一步的探讨,所以略显单薄,可以尝试补充一些关于这首歌的背景知
