Do you like the song?S: Yes, we do.T: Lets sing the song - Ten Little Indians.Ask the students to write down the numbers110,then check the numbers.Step 2: RevisionWrite down the number 0-9 on the workbook.Read the phone numbers on the cards. Work in groups and try to find out the rules in the numbers. Lets find out the rules in the numbers. Look at the numbers in the box in 1a on page 44. Listen to the recording and repeat one by one. Please pay more attention to the pronunciation of twenty and thirty. They are often pronounced differently than they are spelled. The word twenty is often pronounced twenty. The second “t” disappears. This is especially true when the twenty is followed by another number as in twenty-one. Also, the second “t” in the word thirty often sounds like a “d”. Most native speakers of English sounded like theyre saying thirty instead of thirty.要点解疑:one-twelve的拼写和读音各不相同,无规律可循,应逐一记忆。thirteen-nineteen表示“十几”,在个位数后加“teen”, 注意十三、十五和十八:thirteen, fifteen, eighteen.twenty-ninety 表示“几十”,在个位数后加“ty”. 要注意有几个数字的拼写有变化:二十(twenty) 三十(thirty) 四十(forty) 五十(fifty) 八十(eighty)21-29直到91-99表示“几十几”,在“几十”后边加个位数,中间用连字符 “-” 连起来。如:33为thirty-three.Step 5: Do the exercisesWork on 1b Write the numbers in 1a next to the correct words.
