Students are able to answer some simple special questions leading by “whose”.2.Analysis of the teaching materialThis knowledge point appears both in the text and the post text exercise, and students can find several examples in the text. Because nominal possessive pronouns refers to the adjectival possessive pronouns learnt in last term and they both appear in the exercise , it is better to be talked about in exercise class. 教学目标At the end of the class, students will be able to:1.Use “yours”, “mine” to answer some questions correctly; 2. Tell out the differences and their relationship between adjectival possessive pronouns and nominal possessive pronouns; 教学方法The deductive method教学内容及教学过程1.Greeting and lead in (1min)(1)T: How are you today?Sts: Fine.Not so good .And you?T: I am fine. Thank you!(2) T: last semester, we had already learnt about the adjectival possessive pronounces(形容词性物主代词). And who can tell me some? St. A: My、your and her. T: Good. Last term we had learnt these adjectival possessive pronounces and some others like “our”. And this time we are talking about their nominal possessive pronounces(名词性物主代词).2. Show the nominal possessive pronounces of “my” and “your” and do some exercise. (2min) (1) Tell the students that“mine” is the nominal possessive pronounce of “my” and “yours” is the possessive pronounces of “your”. (2) Ask the students to do some exercise and read the dialogue. T: If Tom wants to answer this question with adjectival possessive pronounces and nominal possessive pronounces, how does he answer? Who can help him? St.B: It is you skirt. T: good! Then if use the nominal possessive pronounces, how to answer?St.B: It is yours.T: I agree with you. Next. (the same as above)3. Help the students get the relationship between adjectival possessive pronounces and nominal possessive pronounces. (2min) (1) Help students make clear of the relationship. T: From these two different answers, we can find out a relationship between adjectival possessive pronounces and nominal possessive pronounces (形容词性物主代词和名词性物主代词之间的关系). “It is my swimsuit” and “It is mine” both means “我的泳衣” . And here “mine” means “a swimsuit of mine”. Then we can get this relationship,that is “形容词性物主代词+名词=名词+of+名词性物主代词”. (2) Ask students use two ways to answer the questions.4.Make a conclusion (2min)(1) Make a conclusion on how to use these two different kinds of words and their relationships.T: Lets have a conclusion about what we learnt just now. Adjectival possessive pronounces can be used as the adjective and they are put before nouns. Their person, number and gender are change according to the nouns and pronounce they represent. Then nominal possessive pronounces can be used as the nouns, and they cant be put before nouns.
