We can go to the park. 星期天是我们最喜欢的一天。我们可以去公园。favorite n. “最喜欢的人或物”,其复数形式是favorites。These books are my favorites. 这些书是我最喜欢的。subject n学科;科目How many subjects do you learn at school? 你在学校学习多少门学科?(1)subject n. 主题The subject of the poem is friendship. 这首诗的主题是友谊。(2)subject n. 主语I dont know the subject of the sentence. 我不知道这个句子的主语。【例1】 I like apples best.(选出意思相同的一项)AI like apples more. BMy favorite vegetable is apples.CMy favorite fruit is apples. DI dont like apples.解析原句意为“我最喜欢苹果”。A项意为“我更喜欢苹果”,不符合句意,排除;B项意为“我最喜欢的蔬菜是苹果”,苹果不属于蔬菜,排除;C项意为“我最喜欢的水果是苹果”,与原句句意相符;D项意为“我不喜欢苹果”,与原句句意不符,排除。故选C项。答案C句意我最喜欢苹果。【例2】 What _ do you like best?Music.Acolor BfoodCsport Dsubject解析根据答语“音乐”可知是一门课程,故选D项。答案D句意你最喜欢哪门课程?音乐。2.Why do you like PE.? 你为什么喜欢体育?why adv. “为什么”,用于询问原因,答语常用because来引导。Why is he crying?他为什么哭?Because he cant find his mother. 因为他找不到他妈妈。Why not v.?为什么不做呢?Why not go with me? 为什么不和我一块去呢?why引导的特殊疑问句,有时相当于what.for句式,二者可以转换。Why does he come here?What does he come here for?他为什么来这儿?【例题】 _ does he want to join us?He wants to learn swimming.AWhat BHowCWhy DWhere解析:根据答语“他想学习游泳”可知问句询问原因,故用why提问。答案:C3Because its fun.因为它有趣。本句是由because引导的句子,常在复合句中作原因状语从句。She likes math because its interesting. 她喜欢数学,因为它有趣。because conj. “因为”,后常接句子,回答why引导的特殊疑问句。because(因为)和so(所以) 不能同时用在句子中,二者只能选其一。Why do you want to go to Beijing? 你为什么想去北京?Because I want to visit the Great Wall. 因为我想去参观长城。because of “因为,由于”,是一个短语介词,后接名词或名词短语。He cant go to school because of his leg. 由于他的腿他不能去上学。【例题】 We dont go to school today _ its Sunday.Abecause Bbecause of Cor Dand解析A项意为“因为”,后接句子;B项意为“因为”,后接名词或短语;C项意为“或者,否则”;D项意为“和”。根据句意可知,前后句子是因果关系,故需用“因为”,排除C、D两项;“its Sunday”是一个句子,所以用because,排除B项。故选A项。答案A句意我们今天不去上学,因为今天是星期天。4I like Monday because I have PE. and history. 我喜欢星期一,因为我上体育课和历史课。Monday n星期一I have PE. on Monday. 我周一上体育课。(1)一周有七天。在西方国家,人们一般把星期日作为一周的第一天,星期一为第二天,以此类推。星期六为一周的第七天,即最后一天。Tuesday is the third day of a week. 星期二是一周的第三天。(2)星期名词是专有名词,首字母都要大写。在表达日期时,还会用到星期名词的缩写形式:SundaySun.,MondayMon.,TuesdayTue./Tues.,WednesdayWed./Weds.,ThursdayThur./Thurs.,FridayFri.,SaturdaySat.(3)提问星期时,常用句型:What day is it today?What day is it today?今天是周几?Its Sunday today.今天星期天。(4)有时候星期名词后面加上“s”,通常指 “每个星期几”,用于一般现在时态中,表示经常性的动作或状态。She helps me with my English on Sundays. 每个星期天她都帮我学习英语。(5) “在星期几”、“星期几的上午/下午/晚上”,要用介词on。当星期前面有this,that,last,next等词修饰时,通常不再用介词。We have music on Monday afternoon. 我们星期一下午上音乐课。【例1】 _ is it?Friday.AWhat time BWhenCWhat day DWhat color解析A项意为“几点”;B项意为“何时”;C项意为“星期几”;D项意为“什么颜色”。根据答语“星期五”可知用what day 提问。故选C项。答案C句意星期几?星期五。【例2】 What day is it today?_AIt s Monday.
