They were ten years ago.”进行交流。难点:1.单词的认读与书写。2. “were”在实际语境中的灵活运用。课前准备CAI, CD_ROM, cards教学环节教师活动学生活动Step 1 Warming-up1. Greetings. Hello, boys and girls. Welcome back to school.2. Free talk.大屏幕出示林丹小时候的照片:Look, this is Lin Dan. He was six then. He was short. Now hes tall.Step 2 Presentation1.出示姚明,易建联幼时和现在的照片 T: Who are they? S: They areT: Were they short ten years ago? Ss: Yes, they were. But they are tall now.(引导学生回答并教师板书新知。)引出新单词:were, but, ago,并操练。操练形式:小火车,同桌俩,男女生,高低音等。操练单词时可以结合句子,Were they young? But they are old now. They were short ten years ago.2用图片教学单词 pupil, active, smart, naughtyT: They were pupils, Were they active?S: .T: Is she smart/naughty? TSs: Practice: pupil, active, smart, naughty 结合句子操练单词,便于学生理解记忆。3Listen and sayT: Jenny and Danny visit Mr. Wang, What are they talking about?First listen, then answer the question. They are talking about Mr Wangs pupils.Step 3 Practice1. 让学生带着问题听对话,听完后同桌讨论答案。a) Were they your pupils?b) Were they active in class?c) Were they naughty?Ss学生回答问题,老师归纳总结并板书主要句型,同桌俩操练这些句子。Were they your pupils?
