Analysis of Teaching ContentLesson 20 is the second lesson in Unit 2, Book 8.This unit focus on the subject Countries We Know, Lesson 20 mainly talks about introduce China in English. This is a flag of China. This is.【能力目标】Improve the students ability of speaking, listening, reading and writing. 【情感目标】Stimulate interest in learning English, and development of the students ability of using synthetic language.【教学重点】To master the words and phrases.【教学难点】To learn the actual function of introduce China. 课前准备Tape recorder, Multimedia 教学过程Step 1. Warm-up1. Greeting:T:Hello,everyone. How are you?Ss: Fine, thank you. How are you?T: Im fine, thanks. Nice to see you again.Ss: Glad to see you again.T: How do you feel?T: Whats the date?T: How tall are you?T: How tall is your _?T: Where do you live?2. Sing the song: Hows the weather.Step 2. Presentation1. Free talk: T show the map of the world.T: Where do you live on the map?Ss: We live in China.T: What language can you speak in China?Ss: Chinese.2. Introduce China according to the picture.(T show a map of China, let students introduce China.)This is a map of our country, we live in China, we speak Chinese.3.
