Preview the new words and phrases Read the new words: teenage, mad, disturb, survey, communication Underline the phrases: get fat, try more exercise, feel tired, drive me mad, feel lonely Know the sentence: Its unhealthy for you to eat too much. 2. This class we learn teenage problems, Tell students that most teenagers have problems. If you have problems, you should talk to your teachers, friends or family. Having a problem is nothing to be ashamed of, because everyone has problems from time to time. 2. Ask several students what their problems are. Then do a survey of the problems that students in the class have. Show (ppt) the following headings on the blackboard:Not enough sleepNot enough time to do homeworkToo noisy to study at homeLonelyNo close friends to talk toParents are always busy(1) Give students fives minutes to work in groups. Discuss their problems and write on the paper. The teacher calls some groups to speak out the problems and asks other groups to help them how to solve them.(2) Ask students to work in pairs to complete Part A on Page 43. Teacher shows the sentences in ppt. Once all students have finished, ask one student at a time to read out what they have written. Listen for mistakes and mispronunciation. Then show the answers. 1.
