Thats why I buy audio books I can turn them on in the car as Im driving to and from work, and find that enjoyment in books without physically reading.” It is true. Working forty or more hours a week, who truly has that time to sit on a comfortable sofa to read a good book? When I was free, I researched the Internet and found some pretty wonderful audio works of literature online books Id heard of, but never had the chance to read.A while ago there was this movie I missed at the cinema, and to my surprise I found the audio book for it online and therefore bought it. After it arrived, I listened to it every trip, to and from work daily. It was like being in the movie theatre, listening to that book being read out loud to me. I enjoyed the experience so much that within a week I was back at my favorite store online ordering more audio books. My other choice of audio literature is those books that will help me focus on more positive sides of life.Sometimes I feel like a robot. Day in and day out I get up, get the kids clothes prepared for school, pack the lunches for everyone, eat breakfast, ensure the kids are ready for school and drop the kids to school. I then travel fortyfive minutes to work for eight hours. Does this sound familiar to you? Audio books have helped me relax and enjoy a great novel without saving time to physically sit somewhere and enjoy a book.Im so grateful to my friend for sharing her audio literature adventures with me. 1What does the underlined word “It” in Paragraph 1 refer to?AThe balance between work and life.BThe friends interest in audio books.CThe enjoyment in books during trips.DHaving no time for physical reading. 由画线词前后的“I dont have time to read”和“who truly has that time to sit on a comfortable sofa to read a good book”可知,It指的是因为忙碌而没有时间读书。2What makes the author feel like a robot?AHer frequent journeys.BHer busy daily chores.CHer heavy office work.DHer busy social activities. 由第四段“Day in and day out I get up .I then travel fortyfive minutes to work for eight hours”可知,是作者忙碌的日常事务使她觉得自己像个机器人。3What would be the best title for the text?AHow I fall in love with readingBHow to find audio books onlineCHow audio books beat paper booksDHow I find pleasure in listening to books解析:选D标题归纳题。 How to make conversation with a group of strangersOne of the most common fears is speaking to strangers.
