They say it would be better to use mass media to find out about more about the world.Discuss both these views and give your opinion.iPass students sample answerNowadays, it is possible to reach almost every part of the world within only a few hours of flight time for a relatively low amount of money. This is the reason why lots of people spend their holidays in remote spots on our planet that our grandparents just new from television. One may justify this rising trend to travel by being open-minded and curious about other countries, while others are of the opinion that there is no need to actually visit places in order to learn about them. Some people do not understand why others spend their money on flights instead of for example buying a new car. More precisely, they do believe that there is no real benefit a person gets from traveling, at least nothing that cannot be mediated through books or television. In addition, flying puts a challenge to our environment that in some eyes is not justified by visiting other countries. On the other hand, travellers are confident that they gain so many experiences while exploring that by no means can be replaced through the information mediated by mass media. Meeting foreign people, getting to know different cultures and seeing new landscaped are reward and justification enough to travel. Moreover, people from other countries get to know each other, which leads to a better understanding and communication among them. This might even help to overcome prejudices an form independent opinions. To my mind, experiences aqcuired through travelling cannot be compensated by any sort of media. Although, I agree that we should think of our envirnoment while travelling abroad in terms of pollution and exploiting holiday spots, the benefit of those who travel correctly“ is irreplaceable.iPass IELTS oral feedbackvideoiPass written feedbackMinimum word count:250 wordsYour word count:279 wordsMarking Key0-3 = weak 4-5 = satisfactory 6-7 = good 8-9 = very strongWriting CriteriaDescriptorWSGVSAreas to ImproveFurther practiceTaskResponsethe extent to which your ideas are relevant, developed and supported the extent to which your position is clear and effective.Make sure you develop your ideas fully and that your examples are relevant to the questio
