Step 1: Show the four pictures in 1a.Students say the names of the four pictures in 1a.Step 2 : Show on the screen some pictures about Yu Gong .Task Two: Listening and finish 1b.Step 1 Sing the song “愚公移山”.Step 2 Students talk something about Yu Gong and then enjoy the song.The reason why Yu Gong wanted to move the mountains was that there were two big mountains near his house and they were so big and high that it took a long time to walk to the other side.Task Three: Listen and finish 2a.Step 1 Listen and number the pictures.Step 2 Get the students to listen and number the pictures.Task Four: Listen and finish 2b.Step 1 Listen again and circle the words you hear.Step 2 Get students to retell the story of Yu Gong according to the information in 2b.Students retell the story according to the information.Students should use the conjunctions like : as soon asStep 3 Ask the students to finish 2c.Task Five: Look at 2d .Step 1 Listen and remember the story.Step 2 Retell the story of Yu Gong Moves the Mountains according to the pictures.Step 3 Role play the conversation.Homework: Tell the kids to do a thing
