T say some name that ss are familiar with , ss can describe:He/She is a boy/girl. And review the words.Step 2:Presentation1. Lead the ss look at the picture and figure out the characters and puppets. Use the sentences learned in second period to introduce the character.He/She is a .2. Lead the ss to focus on the Picture A, and ask question:Who are they?What are they talking about?Now lets listen to the dialogue.Play the recorder, learn the dialogue.Step 3:Practice 1. Talk about Picture A::Joy and Binbin are taking about dolls.Point to the doll and ask.T:Look, he is a boy.Whats his name?Lead ss to answer:His name is Sam.and write the dialogue on the board.Point to the girl doll and ask:Look,she is a girl.I want to know her name.How to ask? Ss listen to the recorder and look at the picture. Understand the rules of the game. 2. T pick a picture , point to the picture and ask:Whats his name? Ss turn over the cards, and make the answer according to the name on the card.:His name is. Then ss can ask, t answer the Q.Step 3:PracticeSs can use the word cards, rename the characters, write the names behind the cards. Use the words and sentences in different scenes.2.use the words and pictures to understand the pronounce of e,f,g,h, and use the phonics to pronounce the whole words.Teaching procedures:Step 1:Warming up and revision 5 minutesSs follow the recorder to learn the song. Review the sentences:Who is he/she? Whats his/her name? Her/His name is.Step 2: Presentation1. Ss listen to th recorder and look at the pictures, understand the rules of the game.2.
