Summary about exchange lifeDuring my exchange period at Linnaeus University, I have plenty of new experiences and beautiful memory. I will from the follow three aspects to share my experiences: living in Vaxjo, studying at Linnaeus University and interesting activities.Living in VaxjoVaxjo is the capital of Kronoberg Country in southeastern Sweden. Vaxjo is surrounded by a beautiful countryside. Forests, lakes and rivers make Smaland an attractive area for those who love outdoor activities. Vaxjo gives me the feel is quiet, beautiful, harmonious. I like everything here, especially the beautiful castle in the campus and the road along the lake when walk to the downtown. Safety is a top priority when it comes to life. Here no matter you by bus or on foot, I feel very safe, however in China, if in the bus you always need to particularly worried about your wallet and cell phone, due to a lot of thieves. I found a very interesting thing, in supermarkets and shops you can see candles everywhere and candles often placed in the window. It is obviously that the candle is essential in the Swedish daily life. I guess that Candle of cultural metaphor their understanding of the bright, no matter what is now, the future is always bright!The people here is very friendly, when I ask them questions, they always smiles and answer quickly. Willy:s is my favorite supermarket, inside there are many kinds of food. Something even more cheaper than China, the milk is really cheap I thank.The apartment at Campus is very comfortable. My apartment,22m2 , with toilet, shower, kitchen, freezer, fridge, stove, furniture and various kitchen utensils. This is big different from Chinese university dormitory, we dont have kitchen and we eat on the school cafeteria unless Overseas Education school. This semester, I not only learned how to make Chinese-style meals, but also learned to make western food. Most important is learned to live independently and live better. Life is not perfect; the way you live can make it perfectly wonderful. Studying at Linnaeus UniversityThis semester a total of selected four courses including: the elderly in the modern society, social work in an intercultural perspective, Perspective on contemporary illness, and welfare policy in Sweden. Through these four courses of study, I learned much, such as knowledge of the normal aging process, understanding of the contemporary illness, basic knowledge and a better understanding of welfare system, social policies and social problem from an intercultural perspective. From the last course, I have the basic knowledge of the Swedish welfare. All course include written and/or oral examinations. Through the way, on one hand, gaining the necessary skills to write and present a literature study, on the other hand, oral examination can improve my spoken English, more and more confidence. I am very grateful to these four courses the teachers! In addition to knowledge of the harvest, I am so happy to study together with students from many countries. Generally, normal class time is not too long, but we need to do homework often reading articles. From this way a large degree to develop my self-learing ability. I love the homework based on the team collaboration, not only improve our ability to communicate but also enhance our spirit of cooperation.There are no final exams covering the entire semesters course work. There are two success marks awarded in the Swedish university system:”Pass”-“G” and “Pass with Distinction”_”VG. Students are encouraged to ask questions, both in the classroom and outside. Classes often consist of discussions around chosen topics rather than teacher-provided lectures. Dont hesitate to ask questions about things you dont quite understand or comment on issues you disagree with. There is a big difference between Swedish education ways and Chinese education ways. There is no doubt that our educational system leaves something to be desired. For example, before end of each semester, Chinese students are particularly large pressure, they need to review all subjects what they have learned this semester.On no account can we ignore the value of knowledge. Learning make life more richer. So precious is time that we cant afford to waste. The harder you work, the more progress you make. The exchange live time is fly!Interesting activities As the saying goes: work while you work, play while play. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. When I do not have classes, I also take part in some fun activities. What impressed me is an invitation to accept visit a primary school， visit a lovely elementary school, Fagrabckskolan. During that week that school organizing a theme for their students, and the theme for this autumn is International Meetings. Their students will have the opportunity to learn about other cultures through seminars, workshops and other fun activities. And I need to share what it is like to grow up in my home countries. That day i participate, the teacher treat me to a school lunch in the school cafeteria. It is from that time I realized that the original Swedish students have free lunch. In China, primary students need to have lunch at home every day.These days in Vaxjo, I celebrated Halloween, Lucia Day, Christmas Day and New Years Day. And remember that Christina took us to Christmas market, where we find so many Swedish the local specialty products, like glasswork and so on, and also feel the Christmas spirit. We also specially went to the church on the Lucia Day, very lovely, very exciting show, and Lucia is so beautiful! The New Years Day, my greatest wish is the social work developing more quickly in China!On January 3, I went to travel, to the Swedish capital Stockholm, to Munich, Berlin, Prague, Vienna, Budapest and France.This is the first time in my life the true meaning of travel!Dont cry because it is over, smile because it happened.Friends After I get th
