-3. Do you like travelling? Why or why not?of course, i enjoy travelling outside very much, there are serveral reasons accounting for this.Firstly, travelling outside can wide horizen, improve the understanding about outside world we are not familiar with and relax ourself in our spare time.what s more, We can contact different places, different persons and different customs, which will make us further know our motherlands history.at the same time, travelling is the good chance for the family to gather and relax their mind.finally, travelling could leave us a lot things such as the wonderful memory in our life and photos we had taken.there are so advantages to the travelling. So travelling will undoubtly become the popular consumption way for us in the future with the rapied development of economic4. Have you traveled much? Where have you been? What did you like most?I went to three cities to play during last summer holidays. They are Beijing, Dalian and HuHehot.I went to Beijing more than eight times. Beijing is the capital of China. Its a big city. There are many tall buildings in Beijing. Its a modern city. My family visited the Great Wall, the Summer Palace, the Palace Museum, the Beihai Park, the Space Museum, etc. I went to the countryside of Beijing to go boating and fishing. It was very interesting. I went shopping in WangFuJing. I bought lots of souvenirs and other things. I like eating Beijing snacks. They are delicious. Dont miss Beijing Duck. It is really nice.Dalian is a beautiful city. Dalian is close to Beijing. I spent 5o minutes on the plane. Dalian is near the sea. I smelled the salty taste in the air. The roads are clean. There are lots of trees and flowers near the roads. There are many esplanades and Japanese buildings. There are some fountains in one of the esplanades. Some people flew kites and walked on the esplanades. We went to see the beach and the sea. The sea is blue. There were many swimmers in the sea. I lay on the beach to see the sky.Dalian is a very nice place to live.Huhehot is in Inner Mongol. There are lots of large grasslands. The grasslands are endless. The sky is bright blue. There were a lot of horses and sheep. They were running or eating grass. I rode a horse on the grassland. I picked some colourful flowers. We drank the tea with milk. There is a small desert, it was very hot when I walked on it. The sand could sing. These trips helped me open my eyes. Beijing is my favorite.6. What are the positive and negative things about being famous? In the modern society, people may desire to be fame and yearn for glory, wealth, and power that accompany fame. But have we ever thought whether being famous is really good for us?To be honest, being a notable person has many excellent advantages. On one hand, celebrities are usually very rich so they have easier life than other people. They live in comfortable houses maintained by servants. They dot have to worry about paying bills, and they can afford the best clothes and drive the latest models of fast cars. On the other hand, famous people can have many supporters and fans. Many fans send letters to express how they admire them. They stand for their favorite persons, even the celebrities have ever done something wrong. All in all, celebrities can own fame, glory, wealth and will be an ideal model for everyone. However, being famous also has its negative side. The biggest problem is that theyll lose freedom. Being famous always means being known to most people. So they cant go shopping, and walking in the park, even they cant go outside without others help and protect. Another important trouble is that famous people have no privacy. Paparazzi try to photograph them all the time. People stop them in the street, asking for an autograph. Fame exposes everything of one person to the public. Perhaps that is why someone says that fame is a heavy burden. As far as Im concerned, fame may be nice but not an easy thing to live with. However, it does not matter whether Im famous or not. I think , just to do what I want is the happiest thing.Thats all. thank you.7.Which famous person would you most like to meet? Why?The foumous people Id most like to meet is Steve Jobs.我最想见到的名人是乔布斯。Hes the most creative person in the world and his name is spreading across the whole worlda genius who has made extraordinary contributions to our modern communications, which has a great impact on peoples way of recreation and even lifestyle. Jobs success stems from his personal qualities: great brilliance, courage to follow his heart and intuition and spirit of innovation. When he was young and his home was near to the Silicon Valley, so he became very interested in electronic devices and had a gift for computers. One decision he made when in college was that he chose to drop out of his college and put in time and energy studying what he lovedcalligraphywas to become an important element which contributes to his future success. Steve Jobs is best known as his spirit of innovation, which is also the symbol of his company-Apple. Apples products like imac, ipod and iphone are worldly used in the interests of human-nature design and comfortable experience of usage.Though he has passed away this year, his spirit and courage to make a difference to the world is always inspiring us to go ahead.I really want to see the hero with my own eyes one day. 希望我有一天可以亲眼见到他。8. Which city is the best city for living in your mind? Why?. I grew up in a small town and then moved to a big city, so I hxdye experienced the good and bad sides of both. I never thought that I would like living in a big city, but I was wrong. After ten years of living in one, I cant imagine ever living in a small town again. Small towns and big cities both hxdye some problems in terms of transportation. In a small town, you hxdye to own a car to ensure a comfortable living. You cant get around without one because there isnt any kind of public transportation. Big cities generally hxdye hexdyy traffic and expensive parking, but there you hxdye a choice of taking public transportation. Its not free, but its often cheaper than driving when you consider gas and time. Especially if you dont hxdye a car, youre better off in the city. amdsPace.Com I love the excitement of big cities. Small towns hxdye a slow pace. Large cities mean you hxdye to adapt to a variety of situations, like finding a new route to work or trying a new restaurant. I enjoy that challenge very much. Another pan of the excitement of city living is the variety of cultural activities xdyailable. There is a wide assortment of theatre, music and dance performances xdyailable in big cities. These things are rare in small ones. The final thing I like about large cities is the diversity of the people. The United States is made up of people of different races, religions, abilities, and interests. However, you seldom find such a variety of people in a smaller town. I think that living in an area where everyone was just like me would quickly become boring. Of course, security is a concern, and thats one area where small towns are superior to big cities. Stil
