unit 5 The silver screen注意阅读速度一个人的阅读能力的高低决定了他能否快速高效地吸收有用信息。合理的快速阅读可以使阅读者思想高度集中,在阅读中积极思维,不时作出归纳、演绎、对比、推测,正确理解篇章大意。没有一定的阅读速度,就不能顺利地输入信息,阅读理解的成效也会大大地降低。高考要求每分钟读60个字,但我们在平常练习时应达到并超过这个基本标准,以便在高考中能给自己挤出更多时间去进行思考。我们要培养快速阅读的能力,就必须克服指读、回读、重读等不良习惯,不要把注意力过度集中在孤立的单词上,以致于对整句、整段的意思把握不清。与此同时,我们还应注意运用多种阅读技巧,如略读、扫读、跳读等来搜寻关键词、主题句,理清文章脉络,把握语篇实质。Passage A阅读理解When someone says, “Well, I guess Ill have to face the music”, it doesnt mean that he is planning to go to hear a singer or attend a concert.
