I really wanted to catch a fish! But they were not biting.I stayed in my boat for three days, waiting. A few times, I thought I felt a fish at the end of the line. The first time I pulled in my catch, it was not a fish; it was an old bag. The second time, it was a shoe. Finally, at the end of the third day, I felt a strong pull at the end of the line. The pull was so strong that my boat raced around and around. I needed all my power just to hold onto the fishing rod. I pulled, and I pulled and I caught the biggest fish that ever swam on the earth! It was heavier than everyone in this room put together! Then something terrible happened! After I pulled the huge fish into my boat, I saw that the boat was going under water!Water was coming into the boat from all sides!I was not a very good swimmer, so I was scared.Although it was the hardest choice I ever made, I had to let the fish go. What are the reasons for the problem? One of the reasons is the car emission(汽车尾气排放). With more and more cars on the road, theres no doubt that the climate(气候)is becoming more and more terrible. As we know, more and more people like driving in China. On one hand, some people think that they should have a car when they have enough money, and then its easy to go out and they can feel comfortable. On the other hand, a growing number of people hope to use their cars to show off(炫耀). Whats more, years of research has show that one of other reasons for the traffic problem is the driving habit. For example, many young people enjoy driving very fast, so they can feel excited. Most of them only care about the speed rules. Many governments are working at how to make the traffic better. In my opinion, the governments should educate those people who have cars or plan to buy cars. The governments must make them know that the climate is very serious and set up a much more perfect traffic control system to solve the traffic pressure.32 . Worried about being hacked(被攻击)?All these worries will soon become history. Scientists have found that upper-casing(大写)your password can help you reduce the chance being hacked.Usually passwords are six letters or more.However,50 percent of people choose a common word or simple key combination for their password. The most used passwords are 123456, abcdef and abc123. In fact, if your passwords are in lower-case(小写),it will be easily hacked by a hacker. According to a study, it only takes a hacker ten minutes to hack a six-letter password which is in lower-case, but if you make the letter in upper-case, it can take up to ten hours. So if you want to make your account much safer, you should make your password upper-case. Of course, you can also add numbers orsymbolsto your password. They, of course, are bar codes. The invention of bar codes has changed the way we shop and how companies learn where their products are.It was two university students from America, Bernard Silver and Norman Woodland, who first got theidea of bar codes. In 1948, they heard that the president of a food company was looking for a way to easily get information about what was being sold to customers. They tried to help by using a code system. They invented a large electronic reader to read the codes. However, computers couldnt easily record the data that was read. Then, in the 1960s, David Collins made important developments in bar codes. He developed a system for recognizing train carriages. In order to develop the recognition system for other kinds of businesses, Collins started his own company. In 1969, Collinss company put a bar code reading system in a car factory, showing that bar codes could be useful.Shortly after Collins started his company, an American electronic company called RCA also saw the potential (潜力) of bar codes to help businesses. RCAssystem, which recorded how much of a product was sold, was not perfect. Since bar codes were not common, not all products had them and different companies used different codes. Then, Woodland helped develop the Universal Product Code (UPC), which gave every product a code that included information
