Subject eg. Swimming is good for your health. 那样谈话不礼貌。 Talking like that is not polite. 南方与北方开战了。 Fighting broke out between the South and the North. Its no use/good _ (argue) with him. It is great fun _ (sail) a boat. Answer: arguing, sailing/to sail Its no use/good doing, Its a waste of time doing, Its fun doing/to do 2. Predicative eg. Her job is _ (wash), _ (clean), and _ (take) care of the children.（washing, cleaning, taking） 我的工作是教英语。 My job is teaching English. 比较：She is looking for her key.(此处 is looking 为动词的进行时形式) 3. object eg.
