Today Im very pleased to have an opportunity to talk about some of my teaching ideas. My topic is life in the oceans taken from Lesson 63 of Unit 16 in SEFC(2). It is made up of four parts.Part 1 My understanding of this lessonThe analysis of the teaching material:This lesson is a reading passage. It plays a very important part in the English teaching of this unit. Lesson 62 and Lesson 63 are a whole unit. At the same time, we should get the students to understand some difficult sentences to comprehend the passage better. The Ss should do some listening, speaking and writing, too. Of course, the Ss should receive some moral education. Let the Ss understand the sea better, love the sea and save the sea and the life of the sea.Teaching aims:1. Knowledge aim: Understand the main idea of the text.2. Ability aim: Retell the text in their own words.3. Revision1. Ask students some questions to revise the last lesson(show them on the screen).a. How much salt do the oceans contain per thousand parts of water?(35 parts of salt. 3.5% by weight)b. What is coral? Why are corals not found in deep water?c. Why is the Dead Sea called the Dead Sea?2. Check the homework(made a survey about the sea or sea life by surfing the Internet or asking for help from other people). Through this part we can consolidate what they studied yesterday, communicate with others about their survery results and prepare for the new lesson.Step 3. Lead-in and preparation for readingShow them some pictures and let them talk each other, and then use the pictures about sea and life in the oceans to learn new words, for example, Antarctica, huge whale, sperm whale, squid and so on.Purpose: Arouse the students interest of study.Bring in new subject: Life in the oceans.Step 4. Fast readingRead the passage as quickly as they can. I show the questions on the screen and let them get the main idea of each paragraph:1. Why can living things live in such oceans around the Antarctica?2. What does the whale feed on?3. Whats more, I want to let them have the ability of introducing and analyzing expression. At the same time, I will write down the topic sentences on the blackboard according to what the students find, so they can retell it easily.Step 9. DiscussionShow them some pictures about the polluted sea and many living things which are in danger and ask them: What are their opinions about it? In order to let them have free choice, I give them another topic: The sea is being polluted. What should they do?Purpose: I mean to give them emotional education. I give them multi-media pictures to arouse their interest of study and their love for life. I mean to make them realize: The sea is in danger!I teach them to do their best to help it and do something from now on. Everyone should do something to love and protect our home.Step 10. The discussion is of the difficulty.I want to make the design inductive, instructive and artistic. 转自/%B9%ED%F7%C8%C6%E6%DD%E2/blog/item/f06ad8549f2a0b1a3b2935cb.html一、教材分析1、教材简析:高二第一单元的中心话题是“科学家”,具体涉及科学家的名言、轶事、科学家的成功之道及如何向科学家学习等。语言技能和语言知识几乎都围绕介绍“科学家”这一中心话题设计的。我上的这节课是本单元的第二节阅读训练课,包括读前、阅读和读后三部分。读前部分要求学生带着问题阅读文章,以求得学生对部分细节的理解。找到文章中的有关章节并不难,难点在于要求学生用自己的语言概括出来。阅读部分的文章介绍了著名物理学家Stephen Hawking 的生平,他的系列探索发现和他对科学研究的态度、观点。 StephenHawking在物理界享有至高的荣誉和威信,是深受许多科学家和广大物理迷尊重和崇拜的学者。他不为病魔和瘫痪所吓倒,而以惊人的毅力和信心成为物理界探索宇宙的先锋,并界乐观地面对生活。读后部分设计了三组习题。第一组习题的三个问题考查学生对文章内容的记忆程度;第二组的三个问题让学生反馈对 的了解;第三组习题让学生以两两对话形式讨论如何运用科学方法解决问题,培养学生的想象力与创造力。这一节课的重点在于文章的阅读,读前起到导入作用而读后则是对学生所学知识的复习与巩固。2、教学目标 (知识目标、能力目标、德育目标)知识目标:(1)学习掌握有关人物的介绍性文章的阅读方法和技巧;(2)在认知理解课文的基础上,掌握运用文章中所出现的常用的句型和短语、词语等。能力目标:(1)发展学生听、说、读、写的基本技能,提高阅读技巧,培养综合运用语言的能力;(2)培养学生能利用上下文来猜测词义和能欣赏文章的写作技巧的能力(3)能根据所读材料运用适当的语言进行简短的交流。德育目标:通过本文向学生展示伟大科学家的科学精神和人生观,使学生形成积极的情感态度,从而能在生活中勇敢面对任何挫折,不被困难打倒,在学习和工作中能主动探索积极进取。确立教学目标的依据:根据新课标要求,通过听、说、读、写四项基本语言技能的训练,使学生形成综合语言运用能力,激发学生的兴趣,为真实语言交际打基础。此外,没一门课程都应尽可能结合学科特点,把培养学生感情融化到日常教育教学中。3、教学重、难点:(1) 了解人物简介的文体特点,并以此指导阅读;(2) 训练skimming, scanning, careful reading等阅读技能;(3)对文章深层次的理解及细节的欣赏及对人物的评价4、教学辅助工具: 多媒体,录音机二、学情分析:高二的学生经过一年的学习,在知识和能力方面的有所提高,所以英语教学不能简单地定位于让学生记住生词或者短语、句型,而要引导学生在阅读的过程中学会分析和欣赏。但同时对于大部分学生来说,英语还是相当难的一个学科,所以在教学过程中,注意提高课堂的趣味性,激发学生的兴趣也极其重要。并且,本单元山学生在新学期的第一课,学生门对新的学期充满信心,通过对Stephen Hawking 的学习,了解也能进一步促进学生学习科学家的精神,更加努力奋斗,自强不息。三、教学方法新课标要求课堂教学要尽可能把时间还给学生,所以在课堂教学中,教师的基本任务是“导”,既起到组织和引导作用。所以在授课中,我更注意采用多种方法启发、诱导学生积极主动地参与教学活动中。本课采用影象导入,利用多媒体播放一些学生熟悉的著名的科学家的资料,引出有关 Stephen Hawking 的话题,然后使用提问、启发、分析、归纳的方法,是学生掌握教材内容,培养学生阅读和分析的能力。在学生阅读过程中,我注意设置难度不同的各项任务,让学生在完成各项任务的同时,提高阅读能力,然后在学生掌握文章内容的基础上适当点拨文章中短语或者句式结构等。四、教学过程1、复习和导入在前三部分(warming up listening speaking )中,学生对一些科学家已经有所了解,所以我首先用图片导入,让学生回顾几位科学家的经典语录;然后展示Stephen Hawking的照片,让学生猜测他是谁,简单地谈谈有关他的一些事情,引出本章标题 “NoBoundaries”2、略读和查读略读和查读是学生必须掌握有欠缺的两项技能。我只给他们有限的时间让他们在文章中找要他所需要的信息,所以我只设计了几个比较简单的问题,让他们能够快速地找到答案。3、仔细阅读;这一过程是要求学生从不同层次来理解掌握文章内容。我分层次给学生设计了几个任务。第一,我要求学生在阅读时划出他认为是关键的词语和句子,然后来完成一个表格,这一过程中他们可以单独阅读也可以相互讨论。这样学生在阅读是既可以快速抓住关键信息又可以理清文章的结构,体会到这篇文章的构思的巧妙之处。第二,我设置了五个阅读理解的题目,既要检测学生的阅读情况,又能帮助学生更深层次的理解文章;然后我给了学生三个讨论的题目,没有绝对的答案,只要求学生充分利用文章中的各种信息,从不同角度对文章进行诠释。最后回归到文章的标题 “No Boundaries”,让学生来谈谈对这个标题的理解并试着翻译成汉语,进而对学生进行思想、意志和理想方面的教育。4、听力训练这一环节也是对课文的进一步巩固,我要求学生不看课文仔细听录音,然后补充完整一篇根据所学文章改写的短文。这样在培养学生听力的同时也为下一步复述课文打下基础。5、词语点拨再现上一环节中出现在短文中的疑难短语和句型(这些也是本单元学生必须掌握的内容),简单向学生解释,让他们能够模仿例句造句。6、复习巩固完成读后部分设计的练习。最后和学生共同回顾本节课所学的全部内容。7、课后作业(1) 要求学生复述课文;(2) 借鉴这篇文章的学做手法,写一篇短文介绍以为自己熟悉或者崇拜的人。/Article/bk/high/ges/202001/19103.html一份英语说课稿Good morning! Post-reading For the ss to understand the passage better, I will get the students toanswer three questions to further develop the students reading abilities anddeal with the difficulties.Step 6 Discussion: In this step , the Sswill be asked to have a discussion in groups abouttheir trip plan to the UK. By doing so ,I guide the Ss to. activate theirlanguage that they have learned. Then invite some group members to report their work to the whole class to make them overcome their shyness and stimulate them to speak in public. I think theability to use English is the most important. We spend as long as nine yearsstudying English. We shouldnt end it just by attending the English entrance examination to get high marks. In this step, what the Ss will do is to appreciate secenary and music aswell as listening to the tapes so that they can revise what they will havelearnt in the class.Step 8 Homework The last step is to help Ss consolidate what they will have learnt in this lesson by putting down their travel plan.Thats all about my teaching, and during my teaching, I will try my best to make the class alive and encourage the students to speak more,act more and keep smiling and praising them.I think that I will arouse their interest in studying English.Thanks very much./thread-328599-1-1.html高中英语讲课稿一、教学内容分析 (一)知识背景及新课程、新教材 本单元围绕考古这一主题开展听、说、读、写多种教学活动。旅游作为当今社会人们最感兴趣的话题在英语学习占有非常重要的位置。名胜古迹是旅游的重点内容之一,名胜古迹中的许多发现都来自于考古工作。所以Archaeology也是一个非常贴近生活、具有时代性、可挖掘性的教学主题。 本单元所选的语言素材涉及中外名胜,有利于学生了解外国文化,增强世界意识。正如新课程标准中的教学建议所提:学习考古有利于“拓展学生的文化视野,发展他们跨文化交际的意识和能力”;在利用现代教育技术观看历史教育片的过程中,“拓宽了学生学习和运用英语的渠道”;同时本单元的教学对教师本身历史文化修养、广阔的知识面等方面有非常高的要求,体现了师生共同不断更新知识结构以适应现代社会发展对英语课程的要求的“与时俱进”的理念和思想。 (二)教学重点难点 1.利用已有知识谈论石器时代、青铜器时代、汉朝、唐朝等时代人们的饮食起居、文化娱乐、生产工具等,为以后阅读英国的巨石王和中华文明的起源奠定基础。 2.调动学生的积极性,组织他们利用表达好奇功能结构谈论他们所感兴趣话题。 3.听力是这一课的难点。听力材料介绍是古代法国人用来射箭的一种武器。材料长,对武器的结构的解释比较复杂。但是学生听过材料后能够顺利地完成课本上的练习。这里不要求学生理解细节,只要能完成练习就行。 二、三维教学目标 (一)知识技能 1.学会谈论古代人的生产、生活; 2.学会表达对什么东西的好奇,如: I wonder what/ who I really want to know Im curious to Id love to know I wonder if/whether What Id really like to find out is Im curious about Id like to know more about 3.学习一些与考古有关单词、短语和句式,如:archaeology及其派生词,curiosity, bronze, dynasty, decoration, artifact, unearth, spear, pot等。 (二)情感态度 1.让学生了解本单元的总体学习目标,以便激发学习学习积极性。 2.从谈论石器时代、青铜器时代、汉朝、唐朝等时代人们的饮食起居、文化娱乐、生产工具等入手使学生到中国具有悠久的历史、灿烂的文化,增强学生的民族自豪感,爱国主义情操。增强学生学好英语自信心。 3.通过开展小组活动,指导学生积极与人合作,相互学习,相互帮助,培养其团队精神。 (三)学习策略 1.认知策略:通过-ology, -ological, -ologist等词根的学习,掌握archaeology, archaeologist, archae- ological等词,同时掌握同类词的学习方法。 2.调控策略:通过听力让学生了解到听力有时很难,不可求全责备。可以材料调整听力要求。有的要听懂细节,有的甚至要推断隐含内容,但有的只需要掌握大意。 3.交际策略:通过谈论古代人的饮食起居、文化娱乐、生产工具和谈论兴趣等真实交际活动提高用英语交际的能力。同时让学生了解表情、动作等非语言手段提高交际效果。 4.资源策略:让学生了解博物馆、名胜古迹和书籍资料一样是学习的重要途径。 (四)文化意识 1.了解英语国家对文化遗产保护的态度。 2.了解西方国家部分古代用具。 3.通过中外古代文化对比,加深对中国文化的理解。 三、具体教学步骤 (一) 导入(Lead-in) 这一步骤的重点在于激发学生对考古学的兴趣,因为一般学生认为考古没什么有趣的。 活动方式:师生互动。教师盯着天花板的一处看30秒钟。引起全班同学一起去看。然后问:What do you see? 学生自然会回答:Nothing.然后再问Do you know what I was looking at? 学生自然会回答:No, I dont. 然后告诉学生老师根本没有看什么,只是做一个动作而已。再问Why did you look at there after me?学生答不上。老师告诉学生That is because of curiosity.再问What is the word   curiosity from? 学生学过curious,所以能答上来。老师再讲:根据心理学的观点,每个人都具有对新鲜事物认识的兴趣,这叫做Curiosity。然后给出一个新词: Archaeology(板书课题)并指出This is a new word for you.
