What should we do to protect animals in danger? 导入二多媒体课件导入通过多媒体向学生展示卧龙自然保护区及大熊猫的图片(详见光盘课件),引出本单元的学习内容,让学生了解一些濒危动物的生活习性和它们濒临灭绝的原因,唤醒学生保护环境、爱护动物的意识。T: Boys and girls! Do you know the animals in the photo? Ss: Yes. They are pandas.T: Can we keep a panda as a pet? Ss: No.T: Why?S1: Because there are only about 1,600 pandas in the wild today. They are very “稀有”. T: Yes, they are very “rare”. Good. What other information about pandas do you know? S2: 导入三情境导入创设场景,让学生谈论自己喜欢的动物及它们的生存现状,然后引入新课。S1: My favourite animal is pandas. Although I havent seen real pandas, I have seen them on TV. They look very lovely. But there are not many in the world. People should protect them. S2: I like tigers best. I can see them in the zoo, but they look unhappy. I would like to help them. I want them to live happily. S3: 素材二 课堂活动案例 活动一教材Activity 1(教学目的:通过展示图片让学习变得有趣而轻松)(详见光盘课件)通过多媒体向学生展示一些图片,让学生通过问答形式来描述这些动物。 活动二背诵教材Activity 4(教学目的:既巩固本单元重点单词和句型,又为下一单元的写作做好铺垫)1理解词义:让学生明白Activity 4方框中所给词汇的汉语意思,然后自己仔细答题。(时间:5分钟)2同伴互测:5分钟之后,与同伴核对答案。将双方答案不同的题目做出标记,然后讨论确定答案,如果两人意见不统一,可以向教师求助。(既调动了学生的学习积极性,又体现了合作学习。)3.背诵:教师指出这则小短文描述简洁,同时又有重点词汇的具体运用,可以为今后的有关保护动物的小作文做准备。要求学生在理解词句的基础上背诵它。(在前面3个步骤的基础上,相信有相当多的学生在5分钟之内可以背诵它。对于没有背诵下来的学生,可以要求他们作为课下作业) 素材三 听说强化训练 (教材P42Activity 2)听录音,选择正确答案。()1.Who is watching Animal World?ATony. ()(2)The Wolong Panda Reserve doesnt allow people to get closer to the animals.()3学生大声朗读对话5分钟,完成对话后面的表格。先与同桌核对答案,然后教师给出标准答案。4.合上课本,与同桌回忆对话主要内容。教师巡视补充。5挑选两组学生进行对话表演。(教师可以给出关键词汇提示) 突破二教材Activities 57 1先播放两遍Activity 5中的录音,让学生注意听句子中动词不定式的停顿。然后,播放第三遍录音,让学生跟读,领会动词不定式的停顿。最后,挑选6名学生朗读,其他同学对他们进行点评。2学生两人一组进行有关动物保护的自由问答,教师巡视帮助。5分钟后,挑选两组学生进行展示。3用动词不定式描述我们为了保护濒危动物所做的事情,同桌之间就活动互相补充。如:To protect animals in danger, we should support a charity for animals.
