They all show that from an early age, Edison was curious about the world around him and always tried to teach himself through reading and experiments.Surprisingly, little “Al”Edison, who was the last of seven children in his family, did not learn to talk until he was almost four years old.Immediately thereafter, he began pleading with everyadult hemet to explain the workings of just about everything he met.
