As what we have experienced in the past 100 days, it has been a remarkable winter because of the national outbreak of COVID-19. I still remember what happened in the Chinese New Years Eve two months ago. My auntie is a doctor. When heard of the urgent news that she should perform her duty in the hospital for the following days, my family sank into a great panic. How long would this duty last? Could my auntie be safe? I had never felt such a kind of horror like that.The epidemic rapidly spread exceeding our expectations. More and more confirmed cases and deaths were reported. Hubei Province was locked down. People were restricted to homes. The whole country was in an emergency status under a cloud of terror.At this time, a group of heroes came forward. They are medical staff, scientists, the Party members, and volunteers in the war.It is not merely my auntie. The majority of medical staff of the whole country sacrificed their Spring Festival holiday and charged on the frontline to fight against the disease. Regardless of personal safety, they took their original mission and professional option to head for Hubei Province. The medical staff have been acting the most beautiful documentary film in this era. In order to win, they work together to build a solid line of defense. In addition, we can also see a group of scientists in the war. Without any hesitation, they immediately make up the epidemic expert group, trying to find out pathology and effective prescriptions as soon as possible. We can still remember academician Zhong Nanshans appeal to wear face masks, Chen Weis busy figure in the lab for working out the vaccine, Li Lanjuans exhausted face after days of nonstop working. These scientists have reassured and encouraged the public with their trusted expertise. To prevent the spread of disease is both an order and a responsibility for the Party members on all battlefields. Throughout the country, the Party members have played their exemplary role at all posts in routine works of disinfection and sterilization, registration and inspection. Moreover, a lot of volunteers have also joined the fights. They keep on duty day and night, insist on publicizing the common knowledge of epidemic prevention, notify the roots to pay more attentions. Thanks to all these vanguards and assaultersmedical staff, scientists, the Party members, volunteers, our broad masses have confirmed a belief that the spread of the epidemic could be curbed and stemmed. The conviction has aroused our courage and confidence to fight. While doing our best to protect ourselves, we have come together to resolutely win the hard and evil battle. To protect the lives of the people is to protect our great Chinese nation. In the so-called peaceful times, there are always people struggling to pre-load row for us.
