This is my family.3、Vocabulary(Review):a bag, a boat, a car, Ann, a ruler, Mocky, Bobby, a bike, Lulu, Danny, an eraser, a computer.二、Teaching key point.1) Introduce the letter W w.三、Teaching difficult point.1) Study words that begin with the letter Ww.四、Teaching procedure.1. Talk together 1) Have the children stand in a circle and hold up their family pictures.2) Have each child say his or her English name. (Make sure each Child knows the English name of the child on either side. Encourage them to ask. “Whats yours name? if they do not know.)3) Have each child introduce the neighboring child to the class using the structures Hes/Shes (Jane). Thats his/her family. Make sure thepronouns he/she and his/her are correct. 4) Have the children put their pictures in a pile in the center of the circle.5) Explain to the children that you will pick up the pictures one at a time, and that you want them to say “Thats his/her family.” when you hold up their drawing.6) Continue until you have returned all the pictures.8) Have the children open their books and point to the picture at the top of the page.9) Ask the children who is holding the picture of his family.10) Display your copy of the page. Elicit the characters names: Ken, Ann, Tommy. Make sure the children know that picture is of Ken family and Anns family because Ann is Kens sister.2. Listen and point Student Book page 66 1) Have the children turn to the page 66 in their books. Draw their attention to the bottom half of the page.2) Say, “Now we will hear some words. Play the tape of the first three words. Have the children point with their pencils to the first letter of each word as they hear it. Repeat for the other two rows of words.3) Play the next section of the tape. (The words in each row are missed up.) Have the children number the pictures in the order that they hear the words.3. Introduce the letter WwStudent Book page 671) Ask the class to recall the letters they have learnt. If the children cannot name them, have them find on Uncle Bookys ABC. Write A a , Bb, Cc, D d, E e, Ff, G g, H h, Ii, J j, K k, L l, Mm, N n, O o , Pp, Q q, R r, Ss, T t, U u, Vv on one corner of the board.2) Say, “Look at Uncle Bookys ABC and find the letters you know. Now look at the nest letter. This is the letter Ww.” 3) Write the letter Ww on the board. Then repeat, “This is the letter Ww. Can you find the word that begins with Ww in Uncle Bookys ABC?” Check that the children have found it.4) Say, “Listen: watch. You say it.” Have the children repeat the word. Say, “Look: watch.” and point to the written word. Encourage all the children to say the word aloud as they touch it in their books. 4. Words that begin with the letter Ww Student Book page 67 1) Draw the childrens attention to the row of pictures beginning with Ww (watch).2) Play the tape, pointing to the matching picture of each word.3) Now replay the tape, and have the children point to the matching picture in their books.4) Replay the tape and have the children say the words aloud.5. Introduce the letter Xx, Yy, and ZzStudent Book page 671) Repeat the procedure that was used to introduce the letter Ww. And the word jeep.6. Summary. 1) Summary the condensation of the words.7.
