Ask: 1) What are they doing? 2) What picnic food can we find in the picture?Answer the questions and try to review some names of picnic food.1. To arouse the students interest in picnics.2. To lead in the topic of this class. While-task procedureIntroduce Kitty and invite students to her picnic. Show a basket of fruit which will be taken to the picnic. Ask: Do you like.? Why? /Why not?Let students choose the food, then make a sentence by using “I likebecause”or “I dont likebecause”Ask students to make pair-work according to the conversation.Ask the students to listen to a conversation and then complete the dialogue.Let students read the text and then do role play.6. Let students make a shopping list according to the text.Answer the questions and learn new words.Learn the new words.
