This fundamental knowledge will cover a broad area of knowledge in best practices in project management, why decisions fail in different cases at home and abroad. Emphasis will be paid on conceptual understanding of essentials of decision failure traps, and how decision makers puzzled and in a dilemma of situation rather than to read cases one after another for best practice of project management. 本课程的目的是系统地为项目管理专业工程硕士研究生提供成功项目管理的基本知识。所谓成功是指基于防止决策陷阱的成功。这些知识含盖了如何进行卓越项目管理实践的知识,决策时的各种陷阱以及国内、外众多案例的分析。课程重点将放在介绍决策陷阱的理解及其应用上,而不是放在分析阅读一个个案例上。It is recognized that in order to avoid failure, one has to deeply understand how to avoid traps during decision. Therefore, different kinds of trap during decision process are seriously focused on our investigation. We have actually taken a teaching philosophy of “Learn positive from negative” and “Explore wisdoms through samples” in this course. The starting points are we recognize that management implies a series of decision-making under uncertainty, only if the correct decisions are taken, then the successful management can be achieved. The more the wrong decisions are committed, the less the management excellence or the project success can be achieved. Only if the students could master the law of avoiding decision failure, can they perform successful management in their future career.为了避免失败,我们就必须深入了解在决策过程中如何避免踩入陷阱。因此,我们就必须集中认真地研究在决策过程中的各类陷阱。因此,我们应在教学中贯彻了一条“以反悟正”和“以例豁智”的教学思想。其出发基点是因为管理是在不确定环境下做一系列决策的过程,只有成功的决策才能导致成功的管理。错误的管理决策越多,则成功管理的可能性就越少。我们应在课程中让学生掌握避免错误决策的规律,就能使他们在今后事业生涯中实现成功的管理。Through case study by using Chinese samples in Section II, students could independently investigate the problems by those Chinese cases using available theories they have learnt from the course.
