Nearly all of the household appliances especially mobile phone, TV, computer and so on can radiate electromagnetic waves, so electromagnetic waves surrounded us all day long. Some people refer to them as “invisible pollution.”There are three main kinds of hazards that electromagnetic radiation can make as follows: it can influence the normal operation of various electronic devices; electromagnetic leakage of information and hang over national security; it influences our body balance, even harmful to our health and metabolize. Therefore, the electromagnetic pollution is known as one kind of environmental pollution. We must take measures to protect ourselves and this attitude is becoming more and more popular.There are many measures that we can take to raduce or avoid electromagnetic radiation.But wearing anti-radiation clothes seems to be the convenient way.With the development of the textile industry, functional fabrics and functional textiles were known by consumers, and electromagnetic shielding fabric is a large kind of those products. These textiles have good electromagnetic shielding effect, it can protect us from lots of harmful electromagnetic radiation. The electromagnetic shielding fabric has a long history until now. Today, there were many kinds of electromagnetic shielding clothes, the main radiation protection products on the market include maternity clothes,some frocks,childrens wear,etc.While the public havent realized the injury that the electromagnetic radiation could cause and the measures we coule take.Data analysis On the question “Do you think induction cooker can produce radiation?” we received 99 answers. Among these answers,70 students chose A(yes), accounting 70% of all the questionnaires. 11 students chose B(No),accounting 11% of all the numbers and the rest of the students chose C(I dont know.) Of course,the induction cooker has radiation.That means that there are 30% people havent realized the induction cookers radiation.On the question “Do you think mobile phone can produce radiation?” we received 99 answers.Among these answers,98 students chose A(yes), accounting 98.5% of all the questionnaires. Only 1 student chose B(No),accounting 1% of all the numbers.Of course,the mobile phone has strong radiation.That means that nearly all of the people have realized the mobile phones radiation.On the question “Do you think computer can produce radiation?” we received 99 answers.Among these answers,97 students chose A(yes), accounting 98% of all the questionnaires. Only 2 student chose B(No),accounting 2% of all the numbers.Of course,too,the computer radiation is the main source of radiation in our daily life. That means that nearly all of the people have realized the mobile phones radiation and we need to take some measures to protect ourselves.On the question “Do you think TV can produce radiation?” we received 100 answers.Among these answers,90 students chose A(yes), accounting 90% of all the questionnaires. Only 6 student chose B(No),accounting 6% of all the numbers and the rest of the students chose C(I dont know.)The TV has radiation.That means that nearly all of the people have realized the TVs radiation.On the question “Do you think electrothermal blanket can produce radiation?” we received 98 answers. Among these answers,48 students chose A(yes), accounting 49% of all the questionnaires. 22 students chose B(No),accounting 22.5% of all the numbers. And the number of students choosing C(Dimness0 is 28,accounting 28.5% of all the answers . From the statistics above, we can easily see that nearly 50% of all students know that electrothermal blanket can produce radiation, which isnt a small value. But 22.5% of all the students dont know this common sense, which should arouse our attention and some action should be taken to lower the index. Besides, the residual proportion of the students dont know if electrothermal blanket is radiant.Among all the 11 postgraduates, the number of students choosing A accounts 63.6%. Comparatively, among the 87 undergraduates, the number of students choosing A accounts 47.1%, which is much lower than 63.6%. From the statistic, we can draw the conclusion that the common sense postgraduates acquire is much wider than undergraduates.About the question “Do you think can electrothermal hands radiate?” we received 101 answers. Among these answers,35 students chose A(yes), accounting 34.7% of all the questionnaires. 27 students chose B(No),accounting 26.7% of all the numbers. And the number of students choosing C(Dimness0 is 39,accounting 38.6% of all the answers . Comparing with the last question, only 34.7% of the students know that electrothermal hands can radiate, which is smaller than 49%. The reason maybe that electrothermal blanket is familiar to us and we usually use it in our lives, while electrothermal hands is less used.Of all the 12 postgraduates, the number of students choosing A accounts 50%, which is a little lower than 63.6%, also indicating that less students know about electrothermal hands comparing with electrothermal blanket. Comparatively, among the 89 undergraduates, the number of students choosing A accounts 32.6%, which is much lower than 50%.For the question “Do you think is electromagnetic wave influencing your life?”, 99 answers were received, of which 9 students chose A(yes, and its obvious), accounting 9.2% of all the informant. 57.5% of these students think that it influences their lives in a certain extent. And the rest 33.3% of the students dont notice its effect on their bodies. Form the statistics above, we can see that only 9.2% of the students are aware of the harm from electromagnetic wave, which is too small to be accepted by commonalty. So its a urgent task for us to convey relative knowledge to the public.With regard to the question “Do you think is it necessary to take some action to shield the electromagnetic wave towards us?”,111 answerswere received from informant. Whats delectable to us is that less 3% of the students reckon that its no need for us to take some steps to protect us from the harm of electromagnetic wave. From the index we can find out that although some students are not aware of the harm, they will agree to take action to inhibit electromagnetic wave subconsciously in order to ensure their health. Anyway , it will not bring troubles.And for the question, students of both technology and non-technology, undergraduates and postgraduates have almost the same opinions, indicating students pursuits and desirability of health.The next question is “what anti-electromagnetic wave textiles have you learnd?” 65 students chose the answer A, which refers to maternity dress. 46 students chose answer B, which refers to working dress.59 students chose D, which refers to veils. However only 5 students chose C, which represents babys suits. The possible reason is that from our perspective,living in parents care, few babies have access to electromagnetic wave. In fact, its a wrong viewpoint. According to reports, electromagnetic wave exists in any place available. So you cant miss it! The only thing we can do is to evade as much as possible. Question 6 “Here is a knitting coat with good anti-electromagnetic wave effect, what price would you offer to own it?”We received 100 answers, among which 42 students acceptable price is 50-100RMB, accounting 42% of all the students.
