Talk about ones job with friends.Teaching Aids:CAI, a straw hat, picturesetc.Teaching methods:Task-based teaching method, TPR teaching method.Step 1 warm-up1. Chant : Free talk: Do you love your family? How many people are there i
4、n your family? Who are they?2. Talk about “My Family Tree”Review the words of jobs by asking and answering. -what is the man/woman?- He /She is a cook/ doctor/ nurse/policeman/policewoman.Step 2 Presentation1. Word teaching: “farmer”.1) Look and guess: What is the man ?2) Present a straw hat and do
5、action. T: I am a farmer. I have a big farm. Follow me : farmer. Show it: farm + er farmer 3) Let one boy/girl act the farmer and make a dialogue.T: What is he/she ? Ss: He/She is a farmer .2. Teach the words: worker , driver1) Show a tool: Whose tool is it ? Present a tool and lead them to read “wo
6、rker”, pay attention to the sound of “or”. We can find the same sound in the word “doctor”.2)Mime a driver and guess again. Help Ss know more drivers: Taxi-driver/truck-driverI think the Ss need to develop their ability of innovation. They also can review by this way.3. Word teaching: singer1) Prese
7、nt the pupil s favorite singer and teach the word: singerShe is a famous singer. She is my favorite singer. Ask for their favorite singer.Pay attention to the pronunciation of the word : singer.2. practice 1) Summary: find a method in English learning.2) a guessing game : look and say.Divided pupils
8、 into 2 teams, ask them to say the words out according the shadows. The winner is the team which one can get more scores in the competition.3)Let s chant :4) Do exercise: Listen and number.Step 3 Practice1.
