Attributive clause is the most
2、important and the most difficult grammar in English. In order to let students master it easily, I will ask students to do more exercises. After all, practice makes perfect.本节课是中等职业教育新教材基础模块三第6单元和第7单元语法内容定语从句的拓展。在教材第6单元和第7单元中,主要讲解了引导定语从句的关系代词和关系副词,对“介词+关系代词”引导的定语从句却未涉及,但在教材配套练习册中,这一部分的内容却是经常出现,必须掌握。基
3、于这一点,我们将本部分的内容作为重点知识进行补充讲解。但总的来说,枯燥的语法使大部分学生感到头疼,产生惧怕心里,从而失去学习的积极性。为了帮助学生掌握这部分的知识,克服学习的障碍,我在教学过程中由易入难,层层深入,运用启发式教学帮助同学更好的掌握这部分教学内容。Part 2: Teaching aimsKnowledge aims: Help students learn to use “whom / which” in attributive clause that contain prep.+ whom / whichAbility aims: Help students learn to

6、 where, why4. “介词+关系代词” 基本结构当关系代词在定语从句中充当介词宾语,常可把介词提前,放在先行词和关系代词之间,即由“介词+关系代词”来引导定语从句。注意:在“介词+关系代词”结构中,先行词是人时只能用 whom,先行词是物时只能用which。For examples:1. The school (which / that)he once studied in is very famous. =The school in which he once studied is very famous.2. This is the boy (whom / that ) I pla
7、yed tennis with yesterday. = This is the boy with whom I played tennis yesterday.Step 2. “介词+关系代词” 中介词的确定A. 与先行词的搭配1.I will never forget the day on which I joined the army. ( on the day )2.I will never forget the year in which my son went to college. ( in the year )B. 与从句中谓语动词的搭配1.Do you like the bo
8、ok on which she spent $10? ( spend on )2.Do you like the book for which she paid $10? ( pay for )常见搭配: talk / know/hear about, speak to, learn from C. 与从句中形容词的搭配You are the student of whom our teacher is proud. (be proud of) 常见搭配:be tired / proud of , be famous for, be interested in, be familiar / s
9、atisfied with 等。D. 根据句意判断My glasses, without which I was like a blind man, fell to the ground and broke.Step 3. 介词不能提前的情况有些固定动词短语中的介词一般不能提前,否则句子的意义会发生改变。常见的有: look for, look after, take care of , look forward to, listen to 等。1. This is the watch (which / that) I am looking for. ( T ) This is the wat
10、ch for which I am looking. ( F )2. The babies (whom / that) the nurse is looking after are very healthy. ( T )The babies after whom the nurse is looking are very healthy. ( F )Step 4. “介词+关系代词”的拓展 A. 复杂介词 + 关系代词常用的复杂介词有:because of, in the front of , as a result of 等. He was badly hurt in the acciden
11、t, because of which he didnt go to workB. 数词 / 表部分或整体概念的代词 + of + 关系代词 此类代词有:some, any, none, all, both, neither, either, many, most, each, few, half 等。China has lots of islands, _one of which _ is Hainan Island. C. the + 名词 + of +关系代词此结构可以代替:“whose + 名词”或“of which the + 名词” They live in a house, th
