49、or too much and you risklooking unrealistic, over confident, maybe even greedy. ask for toolittle and you risk undervaluing yourself and your contribution,and ultimately being underpaid. for many of us, salary is one ofthe most important factors in taking a job, but its often thehardest to deal with

53、e job and reach agreement on a salary, makesure the written job offer states this amount clearly-and when it comes to the actual salary negotiation here are 6essential salary-the most important thing to remember when discussing your salaryis that it is a negotiation. like any form of bartering, the
54、firstfigure you mention in the job interview probably wont be thefigure you agree on. but its a place to start.-be confident about what youre worth. recognise that yourebringing something unique to the company, and that youre worth thewage youre requesting. even if youve only jusfinished school orco
55、llege, you still have something unique to offer and itsimportant to bear that in mind as you think about salarynegotiation.-remember also that its not easy finding the right person for ajob. if youve impressed the interviewers enough to employ you, youhave the upper hand and paying a little more to
